hey dont forget tobi was afraid of itachi
and the only way to beat down edo tensei madara is to seal him so itachi is perfect for everything.
itachi is the key just like he was when he fought edo tensei nagato with naruto and B.
besides that if itachi activates his susano'o he becomes immortal with the combination of yata's mirror and totsuka sword.
and dont forget ems sasuke. he is kinda op now not talking about naruto with kyuubi almost dominated
