Naruto sage mode and Limbo

The reason why naruto was able to sense madara's Limbo was because he had the power given by the sage of sixth paths?
If he hadn't received those powers would he still been able to sense Limbo with just his normal sage mode or not.

No without Six Paths Sage Mode he never would have known about them.

Same for Sasuke, I'd he hadn't gotten the Rinnegan, he wouldn't have noticed.

Naruto can sense evil intent BUT limbo is on another plane entirely.
