Naruto Safety??

So They gave naruto his last name Uzumaki because they didnt want any one to know he was related to the 4th for his safety.

But if they wiped out out the uzumaki clan because the feared them. Why would they give him a worse last name??

I know this realy doesnt matter now because we all know nothing came to it but i think the third messed up in my opinion

Uzumaki clan was weak compared to the Senju and Uchiha.. they weren't bad.. but instead good men. The villages who saw them as a threat killed them sadily X_X.

Well the clan was destroyed so the new generation of Uzumaki's wouldn't know about their clan's techniques. Also, finding a parentless Uzumaki in Konoha wouldn't be surprising. Also it gets him labled as just another orphan and not the done of the Fourth.

Because they don't have a home base anymore they're not really much of a threat, but I think a bunch of them should have joined Konoha to become one of the noble families living there, unless Konoha thought they would become a liability. I mean, they had spies dropping in to try to steal Hyuuga secrets for example.
