Endo: Is that so, well, riddle me this, if your 'L' the greatest detective in the world, then who's "Light"? Hakudoshi? Umari? Kazuya? I am aware that these individual's could pose a grave threat to Konohagakure and it is my job to make sure any threats against my village is neutralized. I am told I lack the power to defeat these, "forces". But it damn sure aint gone stop me from trying. So, whats your stake in all this, who's friend or foe?

L: Lights just a pest, Umari is an extremely powerful ninja but he's a friend. I could say the same about Hakudoshi except he is a foe. And I consider Kazuya my enemy. Never trusted him.
Your village is threatened by the samurai forces most likely, I think Kazuya is trying to get to the hokage, but the hokage is perfectly capable of handling himself. The akatsuki only pose a threat to the countries with bijuu at the moment.
