gaara (he looks at the paper on his desk and gasps) are these confirmed? (he asks shikamaru)
shikamaru (he smiles and takes the reports) as far as we can tell yamamotto is dead (he says proudly)
gaara (he brings his head back and sighs) thank you naruto (he quietly says in relief)
ON THE MEANTIME
4 young ninja walk in they where the united shinobi head band. they are young but spirited and one is leading their group. that boy is konohamaru, and he is looks ready to take on his mission.
konohamaru (he smiles big and looks at gaara) naruto's number 1 studenT at your service (he says proudly before being hit in the head by moegi)
konohamaru (he rubs the big lump on his head) OWWW what was that for? (he yells at moegi in a comical fashion)
moegi (she turns her head side was and smirks) because you're always so arrogant! (she says back to him calmly)
udon (he looks to gaara) gaara sama can you make them stop (he said in fustration)
gaara raises his hand and sand holds moegi and konohamaru in place. they turn to look toward gaara. gaara has vain throbing on his head and then sighs.
gaara (he looks at the konohamaru) listen... this is a secret mission i'm sending you on. its an S rank mission, so please be careful (he sighs)
konohamaru (he looks at gaara with a serious face) hmmm.. where to? (he says confidently)
gaara (his eyes are shaded in the dark) kohana the hq for the daimyo's forces. you need to find out where these "demons" are coming from (he says in a serious voice while looking at konohamaru)
moegi (she looks at her team mates) what do we do when we find it? (she asks curiously)
gaara (he hands them a scroll) use this, it contains amaterasu from when jiraiya fought itachi uchiha a few years back. use it and then get out of there immediately (he says in a serious tone)
gaara (he stares at it and suddenly his eyes begin to water) all the effort we kage put into stopping madara. all of it was wrothless in the end (he sobs at remembering tsunade, mei, ooniki and A)
he looks at a picture of him and naruto smiling together when he was sunagakure way before the war started. he stares at it. he sees his face and imagines what could've been if he did not stop his blood lust
gaara (while thinking about naruto) naruto.... why do you keep hold of the world's light when you see how dark it is. (he sighs and sits back down)
a knock is heard on the door and in comes temari and kankuro. they look at gaara's face paint and how it runs down his cheeks.
kankuro (he walks over to gaara and pats his shoulder) naruto has always been like this gaara. listen to the people out there while naruto is gone need you. we may have taken the wind country back but this is far from over. we need you ready brother. (he says softly)
temari (she walks over to gaara) besides no matter how strong or powerful naruto gets he still needs his friends to push him forward and you're like a brother to him. (she says while hugging gaara)
gaara (he looks at them and tears flow out his eyes) it just feels like no matter how hard i pushed myself, we as a whole still are losing the fight. we need naruto and his reinforcements now otherwise this little piece of heaven will turn into our hell (he says angerly)
kankuro (he looks at temari) he is right sis if naruto does not get help from us then we can consider this the final stand for the shinobi. (he says begrudgingly)
just then the door slams open. a messanger appears before gaara and his brother and sister. he is breathing heavily
messanger ninja (he struggles to talk between heavy breaths) konohamaru's group is walking into a trap (he says yelling at gaara)
gaara (he slams his fist on the table) god damn it! (he shouts at the sky)
kankuro (he grabs his scrolls from the room and makes a bee line for the door) i'll back them up! (he yells at gaara while running out the door)
he rushes out of the gates of sunagakure and follows konahamaru's foots steps in the sand. he is soon upon kohana's territory.
