All I have to say is that Nagato gained his Rinnegan from Tobi. Tobi got the Rinnegan from Madara. Nagato had Madara's Rinnegan. Plus, the only way to get the Rinnegan yourself is to have the DNA of Uchiha and Senju (Hashirma - 1st Hokage).
