Naruto characters of your choice have one month to study Reiatsu before going to war with the soul society.

Which team of three shinobi figure out the most about the foreign energy and formulates the best counter plans for the war efforts? Why did you choose them for your squad?

. Not because I think they'll figure out Reiatsu, they'll take one look at it and say "This is Chakra". And that's probably as good as you're going to get.

How can you not inherently know them all? They're like the most important characters in the series. Ayame is the Ramen Guy's daughter, and 4th place winner of Naruto Shipping, after Hinata, Sasuke and Sakura. Shigure is that chump that Gaara killed, and Matsuri is one of Gaara's fangirls who managed to be promoted from Non-Canon to Canon.

I'd Say Dan, Itachi, and Minato.

Dan already has a spirit type Jutsu
Itachi has spiritual weapons and a universal understanding of things.
Minato because it was stated that he only needs to see a technique once before knowing how it works.

I think all 3 could grasp a handle on Riatsu and it's workings with the least amount of effort and 2 of them are great strategists.

If that were true which I highly doubt than Naruto could also sense them in RSM. Regardless though no one in NV can physically combat a spirit let alone a powerful shinigami.

Dan is actually a really good choice for something like this.

Good point. But Fuuinjutsu would probably work well against Shingami. One of the Uzumaki Seals (Reaper Death Seal) is basically a captured shinigami so there's that.

And then you have spirit weapons like Yata Mirror and Totsuka, and to an extent, Indra's Arrow which is basically like havin a bankai when in the hands of Sasanoo :bdpf:
