Rasengan is pure chakra manipulation, no elements inbueded in it yet.and Nobody except the Otsutsuki's or Bijus have been known to fire pure chakra,except when jinchuuriki's attain their bijuu transformation.
So Naruto is the first Ninja to fire pure chakra as a laser,in "human form"

Seriously bro,Naruto has alot of potential,having the largest chakra source in the series,and with such chakra being particularly strong,with him being of kushina's lineage....even DatabookIV claimed naruto can manipulate all chakra Nature,and has a kekkei genkai. I just want him to use those elemwnt in a versatile way.but i guess we'd have to wait though.
