Continued to progress. Everytime Sasuke appeared after the war ark his feats were just more impressive. The Uchiha potential really can't be rivaled even with the power boost of the second most powerful chakra entity in the NV from birth it still turned out that way. Even Kakashi saw this which is why he only started focusing on Naruto after Sasuke left the village

On a serious note, Sasuke's road as a Shinobi would've pretty much ended at MS. The only future for the guy w/o Itachi's precious eyes would be blindness. He'd hit rock bottom.

Naruto on the other hand would still have SM w/o Kurama. He'd keep on becoming stronger and stronger, reaching new heights.

Well, you're right in a some sense. Sasuke does certainly have the potential to become a lot stronger than Naruto. That potential can be accomplished by becoming Jubi's Jinchuriki, which he can do as he has the requirements currently: Rinnegan and ability to summon Mazo. Not only that,he can master/create all forms of Ninjutsu (Rinnegan) and can copy Jutsu (Sharingan). Naruto is a lot stronger than Sasuke currently, but Sasuke can become stronger due to his closer bloodline to the Six Paths.
