naruto power ups are rehashes

all of the most recent naruto power ups are rehashes of previously established power ups. Everytime anyone gets a new power up its just a better or weaker version of a power someone else already has. Now when there is a new power up i only stay excited about it for a short period because it makes who ever has the power up a seem less unique.

What powerups were ever original? MS came before EMS, Jiraiya had Sage Mode before Naruto, Gaara had a Jinchuriki form before Naruto, etc.

You'd have to go back to very early in the series to find a powerup that doesn't stem from something else

Is it really that much of a problem?

Naruto ability to revive gai is not a rehash. Also him being able to use 1 and 4 tails power is also new . Yes he incorporated them in his rasengan and rasenshuriken but its still badass

Ever since the war started, everything has pretty much just been a copy & paste of previous characters with a few differences here and there. It's disappointing.

I understand, it has been over 10 years and Kishimoto's creative juices are running dry. It's just... yeah.

I expected some new techniques as well, but Kish ruined everything. Naruto has not one technique that he created one his own.
