Well, it's a freakin' war. He doesn't have time to learn cool techniques. All he can do now is improve his current abilities and gain more experience...

because naruto doesn't recieve anything,his powers are completely logical(coming from kurama's chakra) and won't come from thin air(example: power of love).and i like that aspect,i loathed shounin main characters because of the power of emotions they suddenly have(well in here it's directed towards uchihas because of the same reason).and i like the fact that he's not way too strong on his own,something so rare on shounin(of course except for the perfection called FMA).
