Naruto plot examined or rather compared to other animes

On my time spent away from the base during the little free time i had i decided to go follow other animes plots and compare them and every one is so similar when examined that it is scary

Every anime shows the same story in a different scenario , heroes all have the same attitude and their goals aren't that different ( only thing separating them is the story of their individual anime).

Lets look at what i found :

Fairy tail = Natsu , Fairy tail family , strong friend bonds etc

Naruto = Naruto , Konoha village , strong friendship bonds

Is it me or are most animes following the mainstream pattern for sale ( not that i blame them)

Example

Gurren Lagann is a one season anime with epic fight , crazy effects , good humor etc but isnt as popular

but in plot

Fairy tail & Gurren lagann = get straight to the point

Naruto = epic story , but draaaaaaaaaaawn out plot

Which in my case quickly removes the my attention !

Now lets discuss the these points :
What are your thoughts on mainstream anime compared to less popular ones?
And
What do you think of the drawn out naruto plot ?

Its actually very funny and entertaining , the story has really revealled itself as yet but its a very good anime

Yep i have its the mainstream anime flow

That's why I think Death Note is the greatest anime Not too long with non-traditional values.

I feel like less popular anime/manga sometimes do a better job than the mainstream. Sometimes they even do a better job at a plot used in a longer running anime/manga in a shorter amount of episodes/chapters. Btw i would rate Fairy Tail as being mainstream now xD.

agreed , mainstream animes are milked for every possible dollar it can achieve

Yea...but i mean as long as they dont start completely crashing down like Bleach or something then its all good. Although it does bug me when people say Oda or Kishi are the best writers out there =/ anyways, glad you posted this thread, maybe people will start making their anime/manga selection broader instead of sticking to mainstream

i dont know there are many things in naruto that drawn the plot, even the main character is so simplistic borring

yep it really is

Kishi has based Naruto and Naruto Shippuden upon many mangas causing his to be very mainstream as other mangas did the same. Kishi took ideas from Dragonball Z and Rurouni Kenshin. So of course by taking others ideas and using them, Other mangas did the same and that's what led his Manga to become very popular and main stream​

Not really much of an anime fan, generally, but this doesn't surprise me. It's like Disney movies.

Other recurring themes include perversion and sexism as well. And that, my friends, is very very sad.
