Sasuke vs Danzo was a decent ninja battle. kakashi vs obitio...hands down is one of the best ninja battle. I guess I'm saying a ninja battle is where you don't spam jutsu over and over.

That Sasuke vs Naruto battle..Sasuke utilize shit more than Naruto. That's why I see him being a ninja more than Naruto. Being a tactician is what ninja is about!

Shadow clones are one of the ultimate forms of deception.

Naruto's proficiency in using Shadow clones are unmatched. Due to it he's capable of forming plans and counters on the fly, overwhelm his opponent or deceive them with feints.

He can easily seem weak and vulnerable when he's in fact, at his strongest.

Being a ninja is being a spy/assasination specialist. Silent, fast and invisible threat. Ever since they were flashy ninjutsu, the term ninja died, so basically from the early stages. Technically, the one who have the most look alike ninja techniques is shikamaru. Using shadows for fighting is very smooth and hard to notice.

There have been jolt of ninja moves through the series :

Jiraiya has feats of ninja when he goes "infiltrator" for investigating, kakashi by his way of fight too, but the chidori assasination pattern can't be called a ninja pattern since it's far from quiet , the abilities of shadow clones for example.

But in globality, Naruto is not a ninja manga, it doesn't deserve that title.

What MS techniques? amaterasu? susanoo?

I give Sasuke points for making his susanoo use chidori, then take them tailed beasts power and create a lightning susanoo. Then back himself out of the corner when Naruto had 3 clones on his susanoo.

Naruto is simple. If he back into a corner what he do? create more shadow clones(make his shadow clones do the work while he tank the enemy) to confuse or overpower the enemy or rasengan out of there. Take away his large chakra pool, then how will he be able to handle these situation?

The way I see it, if they both are exhausted and out of chakra(can't make a jutsu, sage mode, or use sharingan) and have to face a new enemy one on one with no help, Sasuke would have a higher chance of beating that new enemy.

Nothing wrong with Naruto's fighting style. Shit work for him. I just wouldn't enjoy watching him fight all the time when it very clear about what he gonna do.
