Today's chapter confirmed more on the rumor that part 3 will be there.
The previous rumor was based on the information released in the previous chapter about the movie because of which people were confused whether the page is talking about the movie : The Last or a time skip. There happened many cat fights over this topic.
The statement was something like the movie is a part of a big project Naruto New Era (or something like that)
Proof from today's chapter.
And one more thing. Naruto and Sasuke are blabbering about becoming Hokage.
Ok, let's say one of them becomes Hokage. And manga ends? Are you thinking about that?

All these chapters talked about the reasons why both candidates wanted to become Hokage. Becoming Hokage isn't the end of the story. The changes in their life after one of them becomes Hokage is the main part as the main character of this manga.
What will they do after becoming Hokage?
What will happen to the other who couldn't become Hokage? What will he do?
How others will help them? What will be their roles?
What will be the fate of Naruto and Sasuke?
I suppose that Kishimoto might have thought about ending the series by making both of them fight for the same title and end it as both dying.
But the higher ups must have asked him to include some more stuff by maintaining the end he ( kishi ) is holding in his mind. Stuffs like the hardships to become Hokage. What after Hokage?
