Naruto overpowered?

I don't mean against madara or someone like that but I mean like his peers he makes them look like little children and don't you think he made Jiraiya look a little weak when he fought against pein. They were both using sage mode and jiraiya had hard time keeping up with them while Naruto was just kicking their asses around. Was naruto's sage mode that much stronger or was it the fact that he had information on all the peins and knowing really is half the battle?

yes naruto's sage mode was better because jiraiya's was incomplete form of sage mode (thats why he got the big nose with warts) and two naruto could hold more nature chakra because he had much larger pool of his own. also knowing pein's secret before hand can't hurt

Naruto has been almost completely impotent for several hundred chapters and episodes. Now that he's gotten some actual power (and ability to fight, besides summoning hundreds/thousands of shadow clones) let him have his fun in the sun.

There were SEVERAL of the hidden leaf ninja that had made Naruto look completely useless in the past: Sasuke, Shikamaru, Neji...hell, you could even say Rock Lee too.

At the end of the fight with jiraiya, pein said that if jiraiya would've know his secret he might've won that fight.

yeah your right.. naruto has unnatural amounts of chakra.. so i guess he can sustain sage mode even longer then jiraya... and even this also enables him to absorb larger amounts of nature chakra without morphing into a frog.. so i guess he definitely has the upper hand here..

Naruto also kinda spammed the wind rasen shuriken against pein which is his ultimate move that really only he can do which leads to a big advantage

I don't think you can call Naruto overpowered.

As far as his peers are concerned, it doesn't matter how much stronger Naruto is than them. He's going to be the future Hokage after all so of course he should be stronger than them. If he was near their level then he wouldn't be much of a Hokage candidate would he?



Naruto's Sage Mode has pros and cons compared to Jiraiya's.

Yes, Naruto's was complete but he could only sustain it for limit amounts of time. He also has to prepare clones in Mount Myuboku ahead of time or else he CANNOT use it. Jiraiya on the other hand has an incomplete form, but he can summon Fukasaku and Shima whenever he wants and use Sage Mode right then and there.

Once he lets go of his stupid promise he will actually get some training done! You can never have enough power right? Although I do agree that he made his teacher look bad. I think he's still too childish and has far more to learn. Kyuubi has been assisting him from day 1 I mean would he actually got some skills like Sasuke without the Kyuubi?

Sir, i do thank thee for understanding this lol but the answer is a big fat NO. He wouldn't be nearly as strong as he is without the kyuubis help. like ive said before, its not naruto that wins the important fights, its the kyuubi.

It is just as well as saying , It is not sasuke winning important fights it is the sharingan Kuyubi was implanted into Naruto from birth , So did the Sharingan . So Stop crying dude

well,i think naruto is overpowered even for a main character, seriously i mean it. but he will be even stronger when he will be able to combine kyuubi mode + sage mode and i can imagine him being able to be friend with kyuubi, when that happens, maybe kyuubi will be absorb natural chakra, that would be awesome

True he might not be alive rite now if he didnt have Kyuubi , but Naruto takes risks by even using its power , not only that but he took control of the Kyuubi , that power wasn't necessarily "given" to him. He could have just as easily lost his life to its power at any time.


okay so Sasuke ....

- was given the curse mark
- sold his soul to Oro for power
- couldn't actually beat Itachi so Itachi threw the fight
- Itachi GAVE sasuke powers before dieng
- Sasuke then used ONLY Itachi's powers in all his battles from then on
- Sasuke then STOLE his brothers eyes to get even stronger

Yeah Sasuke really worked towards his goals -.-

I don't think Naruto is overpowered, like previous people said his sage mode has pros and cons. But i do think Jiraya should've put up a better fight against Pain since he was a legendary sannin
