naruto's story is too linear and predictable so I prefer one piece....op has more likable characters, better character development , more secretes, better powers and moves.....just more awesomeness

I can say the exact same thing at your post. It makes no sense whatsoever. Imo OP is better than Naruto, the characters are better, I mean, just look at Zoro, the story is so amazing, the character style is unique, the adventure is awesome, it can combine funny, sad, badass and action moments in one arc, and tbh i felt more sad at the the death of their first boat than any character in Naruto. R.I.P Merry, so yeah imo OP>Naruto.

Your opinion on One Piece is extremely biased, it doesn't even look like you even bothered watching is because if you did you'd realize it isn't your typical pirate-themed anime, it's unique in it's own way.

Anyhow, in my opinion One Piece is far better than Naruto, in pretty much every aspect.

Some of the Naruto fillers are so bad. Maybe the worst I've ever seen. One Piece fillers are short and not bad at all. Also, One Piece storyline is way better than Naruto's. Sounds like I hate Naruto but I don't. I enjoy Naruto but One Piece is the superior anime/manga.

Naruto is my favorite so I would say naruto, but one thing One Piece can do better is that all main charaters and surporting charaters like straw hats crew, jimbie, vivi, ace get good screen time and fights which doesn't awalys happen with sakura, the K11 and friends, but still I think naruto has the better fights.

I've watched and got tired of 1piece due to the devil fruit stuffs. But recently bcos of the annoying Naruto fillers I went back to it. Naruto is a better story, but with the annoying fillers, its boring.

What's a better anime/manga overall? guys say One Piece is better because Naruto has fillers blah blah blah but when Naruto episodes get to the Madara bit and BM Naruto I guarantee NO1 will watch One Piece again. how can a pirate them anime match up to a ninja one? the whole pirate theme is wack

I'm just curious if you have actually read One Piece all the way through. There is not a single person I have ever found that has read/watched both all the way to current and called One Piece bad. I have however found people to read both and say Naruto is bad.


Naruto's anime is pretty bad imo. The way they extend scenes with flashbacks we have seen over and over again just gets really annoying. I mean how many times do we have to flashback to Sasuke and Itachi when they were kids before the massacre. How many times do we have to watch Jiraiya tell Naruto about trying to find true peace during the Pain Invasion arc. They do this just to make it fill up and episode. I get why, but they can do it better. I mean we don't have to see Sasori's flashback taking up 8 minutes the episode after we just saw it. Just show us the key point of why you are showing the flashback and move on.

Now One Piece's Anime does it differently. They draw out suspense and have random people talking about events that just happened or ask what is going on and things like that. Of course One Piece can do this and make a 1:1 ratio of manga chapters per episodes. There is always so much content to read in One Piece chapters. Naruto has to do at least a 2:1 ratio and they STILL have to add flashbacks just to make one episode.


Now if you want to talk about the manga, Naruto's manga is good. Now we can debate about content, the story, character development, and morals that are intertwined in the story. However, One Piece just does it a bit better. EVERY character in One Piece gets screen time and there is always some development with them in each arc. Can't say that about Naruto. Even the main and sub protagonists. How about that Sakura screen time as of recent? How about that K11 screen time. Exactly. the story has went to overpowered techniques and the only people that matter are Senjus and Uchihas(or distant relatives to them).

How about the morals. Trying to find true peace in the world is good and all, but it cannot be achieved. The only way it will be achieved in Naruto is with some fantasy that could never be implemented in real life. One Piece on the other hand has so much more. We get things like slave trading and discrimination as topics in One Piece. Some of the things in One Piece kids should not be watching. Like how Sanji's mentor ate his own leg so he wouldn't have to starve to death, or what happens to those slaves after they get sold. Yeah.

Lastly, the storyline. Both are really good. If they weren't good, there would be no reason for me to be here right now. There is good and bad(more good then bad) about both manga's. One Piece has less bad though.

I never fully watched One Piece, but the scenes I have seen look AMAZING! Although, lately in the manga, Naruto has been lookin' pretty damn epic. I'd go with Naruto simply because I haven't read or seen much of One Piece, but the characters don't seem as interesting as Naruto characters to me. I like Luffy though. Rubber bro~

For me it's Naruto. I tried OP but I couldn't get in it and I tried several time. I don't know if it's because I'm a girl but I love when a manga make me cry and laugh. And Naruto is perfect for this.

One Piece is totally different in every aspect from Naruto, both are immensely enjoyable but Naruto more so that's not to take anything away from One Piece it too is awesome in it's own right.

I have read every chapter of One Piece and Naruto released so far and i find Naruto better in terms of the manga. I will not voice my opinion on either of the anime versions because frankly, i stopped watching both. I stopped watching Naruto because of the fillers and i stopped watching One Piece because of its animation/character designs. As for story/plot i go for Naruto. Now before anyone starts bashing on me let me just say this is completely my opinion and i will give you the reasons why i prefer Naruto.

1.) People like to say "One Piece has better character development" and yea ill give them that argument however, its those times when they go over the live's of characters that i don't care about to begin with, that i start losing interest in the story. Characters such as Usopp or Franky i just never really cared about and disliked it when they spent chapters upon chapters just shoving them down my throat.

2,) Very few Arc's have actually interested me. My ONE favorite arc was with the CP5, after and before that i was barely interested in the story. The most recent arc that just ended (the one with the gas guy) almost made me put down the manga completely. It felt more like a filler arc if anything. This new gladiator/tournament arc has caught my interest so far though.

3.)The fights hardly seem serious, and when they do, those are usually the better chapters. I don't know about you guys but there are times when i just cant seem to take a fight between two characters seriously because of the character designs. It is also the reason why i could not watch the anime and simply read the manga, The character designs are similar in both but there's just something about the characters not moving that lets me continue the story without face palming myself over and over.

I have more reasons but im bored now so ill just leave it at that. Having said all this however, I see neither Naruto, or One Piece as the best anime/manga, i was simply giving my opinion on why i prefer Naruto over One Piece
