Naruto or Dragon ball z

Who else feels naruto has surprassed dragon ball z as a tv show and manga . Dragon ball z was alot of our childhood , goku turning super sayain , beating frezia , gohan defeating cell , future trunks and the fight against buu who you felt was impossible to beat .

But naruto has alot more developed characters like pein , konan , jiraya , 4th raikage , darui , omio yugito , mei , tsundade ,itachi , madara ,obito , kakashi , zabuza haku , killer bee , sasuke .

The storyline in naruto is alot better and there are some consequences were you cant wish people back with dragon balls .

I never watched DB, so I go with Naruto. Although I'm pretty sure that DB can be better.

Naruto for sure. Dragon ball could get boring after the repetition with the villains. I still love the show, but I would rather watch Naruto.

Naruto when this series entering war arc part, I felt this series lost its originality and to repetitive. Its became second DBZ

But DBZ kept their originality until the end.

For me DBZ is better and easy to understand

DB and Naruto part 1 are what should be compared and DBZ compared with Shippuden, and Gaiden with DB Super. I like DB better than Naruto part 1, there's a bigger world building in DB. DBZ has better world building too since they go to other planets and we see them fight better fights. Shippuden have better character development since it has more developed characters but the fights were't as impressive since so many fights had fighters nerfed.

DBZ for me, it's more immersive imo. Also the character interactions feel more natural and believable. The character interactions in naruto just doesn't feel as organic and comes off as forced to me sometimes... Part 1 of naruto had good character interaction here and there but for the most part it fell short. DBZ has better world building, a less linear story, better fights, and more likable characters (imo).. Naruto has way more relevant characters but DBZ characters are just more memorable.

Naruto has a deeper plot and more thought out story..

Shame naruto ended on a low really.

Kishi left far to many characters underdeveloped, Alot of war arc potential was completely wasted with alot of off panel fights or missing people like white fang.
K11 has little to no development throughout the entire part 2, They had one chapter of them owning fodder juubi clones and they were done.
Hidan was just under whelming, a member of an S-Class group of elite ninja's and he had nothing but immortality. Killing Madara off was like....... then kaguya was salt in the wounds

If kishi had taken his time instead of rushing, Naruto could of been so much better than it actually was.

Nostalgia clouds my judgement here and I don't want to see through it destroying good dbz memories, I think both in their own way were great, VOTE1 is comparable to some of the dbz moments-different but equal, overall dbz has a place Naruto will never achieve. Dbz wins.

Pros: dbz has amazing action, great storytelling, lovable characters, great pacing

Naruto has an amazing plot, deep multi-dimensional layered characters, a huge interesting world that you care about, sophisticated story lines cohesively intertwined with one another that all makes sense.



Cons: dbz has a repetitive formula, focused on one character, very easy to follow, and not too sophisticated

I don't see too many problems with Naruto besides Kishi wanking the uchiha. In fact that one con may be worst than any con dbz offers

For story telling Naruto is better but I like DB/Z story. Its straight forward story
