Naruto or Bleach which is more famous

I never really engaged in Bleach manga or anime but have a few friends that do/did.

So I'd say Naruto cause they all watch & read that series.

Weren't they around even in popularity for awhile(with maybe bleach taking a slight lead) until the manga stopped for awhile and the anime turned into a filler fest and just stopped?

In the West anime is huge.

yeah sure, maybe back when toonami was still a thing. also, i'm talking about modern anime series, not the genre. i've only seen AoT become big in the west.

Look at the game sales in the US. Anime games are doing huge here.

at best naruto sales like a million. that's nothing these days, but i guess.

Naruto FTW, I think japs like OP coz the pirate stuff is something they don't know much about and are kinda interested in stuff like that, and ninja stuff been common there they don't really get fascinated like other people from around the world, and the world, and among naruto and bleach it's not even debatable, naruto is the most well known anime out there, most people either started watching dragon ball or naruto, like more than 20 people I know in person started with naruto, so it like the introduction to anime

While bleach was good, it can't compare, many people (including me only stuck to bleach coz of Aizen tbh), aizen literally saved the show
