Naruto or Base Problem?

I have noticed over the past few weeks, a consistent decline in the quality of Naruto Based discussions here on the Base. As a consumer, my immediate reaction was to hold the Base responsible, which made sense with all the technical problems that went on with the forum a short while ago, as well as the changes to the forum headers (which I really don't like).

Then I was wondering about the manga... There really haven't been any long term questions that truly spike enormous interest in the reader, to really think about after reading. No more, WHO IS THE MASKED MAN! How strong is Hashirama? WHo is Pain? WhAt is PAin?

Any way, what do you think?

It's because the things we were discussed were largely theories, like Tobi's identity, who the Ones who Knew Everything were, what the scroll was etc. Now that Kishi is revealing these things, it's only right that we're losing our discussion material.

Well just the fact that threads about the so called "3rd coffin" are still being made, despite the fact, that it was never shown in the manga, says it all.. It's a Base problem, lol.. That said, the source for the problem, is because no big plot subjects in Naruto are going on at the moment. Kishi has used all his ideas.

I can tell you right now its the manga. My proof is quite simple. You see, I haven't read the manga in quite some time. The last chapter I read was chapter 621. Its not that I've gotten bored with the manga, I just wish to marathon through as many chapters as I can to enjoy the manga more. Now, the reason why I know its the manga to blame for this cold season on the base, is because in the past month that I haven't read any new chapters, I have yet to stumble across a SINGLE thread that spoiled any major part of the manga for me. This tells me that nothing exciting/particularly interesting has happened since I last read it, which in tern makes me believe that the manga is at a slow moment right now. And its not like this started happening now either, I noticed significantly duller threads around the time this flash back arc began. Before then the base was flooded with possibilities on what the kage would do, how they would act, etc. Now theres nothing. Just wait, as soon as these flashbacks are over with (or at least until they reach a significant point), then you'll get your heated discussions back.

I totally agree with you there is nothing in manga that will keep people guessing........that chapters are so simple and not all that excited to make people eager to know what going to happen next week.........we need back the excitement and suspense

Well, its not like I open every thread in search of spoilers. I dont intend on reading spoilers. If I find a thread that I believe may contain spoilers, I dont bother opening it. However, what I meant was I havent come across thread titles that reveal anything exciting. For example if Hashirama were to reveal he had the Rinnegan in one of the chapters I didn't read, I wouldn't have to go very far to find all kinds of threads that have titles along the lines of "Hashirama had Rinnegan?". I think the most i've come close to a spoiler thus far is a thread labeled "Tobirama killed Izuna" or something like that. But I hardly consider that a spoiler. Considering Izuna, Hashirama, Madara, and everyone in those flashbacks are already dead. It makes no difference to me how they died (unless it was in a mind f*cking way that leaves more questions than answers).
