Naruto Openings....WHAT HAVE THEY COME TO?!?!?!?

The Naruto producers really need to step up their game. Ever since OP8 or 9 the openings are really getting $hitty. The video itself is boss, but the music just doesn't cut it for me. It really upsets me because the point of an opening (in my eyes) is to get yourself all hyped up and ready to go before you watch the episodes, but now I'm finding myself skipping these new openings and go right to the episode, and to me openings are really special to me (not in a g@y way) in my weekly Naruto routine. I know I shouldn't be complaining because I bet it is hard for the Naruto anime producers and such to put together the episodes and openings, but hey, this is a free country and I can voice my opinion in a way not intended to be mean, rude, etc. So what do you guys think? Agree? Disagree? Tell me your thoughts!

The newest opening was the best Naruto opening ever not to mention the best thing thats happened to the show in a long time. It literally made my jaw drop with satisfaction and reminded me why I watch the show.

I actually didn't see OP13 yet because lately I haven't been watching the anime, just the manga, and I actually took a look at it and admittedly it is pretty good. Naruto OP's may have redeemed themselves because of it.

I honestly think it made up for the past 2 awful openings. (I actually quite liked the Turtle Island arc OP? It really fit the arc it was representing) but the other 2 were just jokes and made me sad. I totally get the whole 'caring about openings' thing! They're a major part of watching the show for me and make me more reluctant to watch the episode if I know I have to watch a bad opening again.

I agree with this thread, and actually, I was thinking about this yesterday. It seems like the only time nowadays that I get excited for an opening is when one makes its day view just so that I could escape the previous one. However, I got to hand it to Opening 13. That one really got me excited especially when they showed the shadow of the Sage of the Six Paths and little Kurama....sorry if I'm spoiling it. But I agree with you with the song choices, they use to be all BAM!!! but now, its only about the images they show with it...blah!
