I've been thinking on this for a while now. And I want to write a crossover fanfiction between both Naruto and One Piece. Which will feature with the Naruto characters born in the One Piece-verse.
I literally spent like 4 hours today thinking up a non-cliche'd devil fruit that Naruto could take.
I ruled out Logia fruit, mostly because against opponents without Haki they = Hax. So, Naruto wouldn't get to grow very much as a character if I did that.
I ruled out Zoan fruit next, mostly because the only type of creature I could see Naruto becoming is some type of fox or Kitsune. Yeah, that's just to cliche.
So finally, I decided on a Paramecia fruit. It took a while, but finally I decided on basically a fruit that is very similar to Greed from Full Metal Alchemist's powers.
The Mijin Mijin no Mi, or in other words the Atom Atom Fruit.
At the very base, it will be a copy of Greed's ability to turn his body into a substance harder than Diamond. But, as time goes on Naruto will be branching out with the ability. The first branch out will be, Naruto working with the atoms in his body to keep his body that hard, yet very light in order for him to get a speed boost. It will get even faster when he learns of the Rokushiki that the CP9 use, focusing on Soru(Shave) for the most part.
Then later on, he will learn of Haki and because this is Naruto - one of the strongest willed anime protagonists there is - he will obviously have it.
Thoughts? I'd like some input or feedback on this on how any of you think I could improve on this idea.
