Naruto has every piece he needs to completely end this war. The only he needs is the intent to kill. Even in the heap of battle, he trys to use reason and persuade. If he had the intent he would be alot more powerful. He is holding his self back. I believe this is how Hashi died.
I doubt Hashi had the intent to kill anyone. I have yet to hear of Hashi killing anyone. Like honestly, Madara and Kakuzu survived. How does someone on Kakuzu's level survive in a fight with the 1st? I think it was meant to be. Even though Madara and Hashi fought in a battle to the death, Madara knew Hashi had no intention to kill him and still won. That is why he looked up to the 1st and respected him so much and praised his power.
Yes, he was possibly the strongest shinobi but if he had the intent, he would have been much stronger but he would've also been hated alot more. If he had it then the world wouldn't be worried with characters like Madara or Kakuzu or Obito. He probably encountered someone who had full intention to kill him and ended up holding back to much.
This is the reason why Naruto is so popular. Since he hasn't killed anyone there are few people that hate him. What he has to realize now is that the only people that could hate him for killing are the ones he must kill. Example: Madara, Obito, Sasuke, Orochimaru. Everyone else is on his side.
