Thanks to Blue from NF for locating the staff, and it did not disappoint. Now we have acomplete schedule. All 3 finale episode sin a row are confirmed to be A+ quality.

Hiroyuki Yamashita handling the entire fight solo is a miracle, as he is a master at action sequences.
Samples of his animation can be found in these videos, but these viddeos are old so some of his best stuff is missing.

Toshiyuki Tsuru is a master of emotional scenes, and has been around since the beginning of part 1. I suggest referenceing episodes 17*19 in part 1, and 82&166 in part 2 for some of his work.

Not all 70 chapters, but I think it should be the end of chapter 698. I'm curious if they will follow 699-700, or if they will expand on them.

With 478's title, the episode is expected to at least cover up to parts of 699 (if not completely) or, maybe it's just a reference to the blood link at the end of 698. If it's the former, then, I don't know what they are gonna do with 479-80 lol

What about the rumor that 480 is the last episode?

I started that rumor/theory at the beginning of the Kaguya arc. I had several reasons to think that the series would end on September 29th with episode 480. However there was no way I could anticipate these 2 breaks, so they brple ,y tjepry/

Anyways that was just my theory, Pierrot hasn't said anything yet.


Also interesting to note that episode 480 is actually episode 700 of Naruto (mirroring 700 manga chapters).

yes that's right, the 2 week brea threw off the numbers by 2 episodes and I never fixed it

All those fillers we've had to endure over the years amidst the canon episodes was all planned from the very beginning to end the anime on that magical number of 700.

It doesn't look like that will happen anyways. As of right now Naruto Shippuden is still retaining its title and time slot. This makes it appear they have it in mind to animate the novels or some other filler before moving on to Boruto timeskip.
