Naruto not the best manga?! DA FUQ?!!!

ok, so during my recent expodition to japan, i encountered a little hickup in my plans that rendered me speechless... just to clear things up, my plan was to buy more naruto merchandise than i caould fit in my suitcase...
The hickup was this; Naruto is not the most popular manga in japan, by far... the most popular manga, and i'm talking about this animae/ manga stuff being EVERYWHERE, is onepiece. a show about fricken pirates.

IMO naruto should reign supreme ruler of all manga and animae, but to the majority of people in japan, they like their manga with a little less ninja, and a little more pirate.

I am very upset and i know how much everyone on the internet cares so i just wanted to tell the whole of naruto base this encounter... i hope all of you are just as upset as me.

Well as far as I've heard, One Piece is a bit more balanced than Naruto, has character development for every character and stuff like that so if it is like this, no wonder is more popular...

the plot is pretty awesome though.

Yeah, I've seen the design and it's pretty weird. But see, if the plot's awesome, people stick to it, even though the design sucks.

by the way its nothing new really, one piece has been kicking every manga since their 1st debut in shounen jump, surpassing Dragon ball sales in 2009 and become the fastest manga that sell 100 million copy in the history of japan manga industry.........

one piece is just that great, why don't you give it a try and see for yourself.........

if we are going by sales, then worldwide naruto is 3rd
under Dragon ball and One piece, the same thing goes in japan,

but if we're going by opinion then we will get nowhere since everyone is entitled to their on opinion,
personally naruto is somewhere in my top 20 favorite manga/anime
