I don't see how they are making a game already. The previous games all had sevral story arcs with a ton of material. The last game ended at Sasuke and Itachi vs kabuto. This means that at most this can cover the fight against Tobi until now in the manga. There isn't enough material yet. They will have to make up a bunch of fights and what will be the final battle? (I'm guessing they'll end it Sasuke and Naruto vs Obito)

I think these images are just to show off the game.....I'm almost certain the reason why there's no Obito is because they didn't want to spoil it to anime watchers.

I'm gonna put my money on that they're going to follow the manga and not the ending of Storm 3.

I think that 60$ is fair deal for a game of a series you like and will be nice for more than one year.

(it will take them at least 1.5 years to release a new one for the next gen consoles or even 2 years...)

Theres not going to be a story mode like your talking about. This game is Storm Generations 2: it will focus on the character roster, updating character combos, updating the fighting mechanics itself, and putting more focus on the online gameplay than the story mode. Generations did have a "story" mode, but it was just a string of 1v1 fights with original anime cutscenes in-between. This game will likely have something similar implemented. What they also did with Generations was they released Generations one year, and then announced Storm 3 the following year saying that when they were making Generations they split the development team in half, so that one team made Generations and the other began work on Storm 3. So its also very likely they're doing the same thing here, so expect to see the TRUE sequel to the franchise within the next 2 years or so.
