Does talking about naruto make you look like a nerd? I was with friends and I went to NB and they said me and my Naruto nerd friends and started to laugh wasent really funny to me

Be a nerd and be proud of it!! I'd say visit a convention, and you'll convert to Otakuism in a frikkin' instant, sorta speak.

I rather idolize artists like Stan Lee and Kishimoto, instead of the talentless bags of mess like [insert mainstream artist name here]

Try this; Watch an episode with an epic battle (like naruto v sasuke, or drunken lee) infront of them, they'll get hooked in seconds.
Worked for my friends, I showed them one episode, they're still watching Naruto.

Doesn't matter, they aren't friends. I'm in year 11 at high school and play yugioh. I've done it in front of everyone and my friends duel too and by the end of the day none of us think anything of it cause we don't care what the others think

In my school, people kinda know who I am(know who I am, not necessarily like me ) 'cause of the music I do, and I mentioned my love for Naruto in some songs, and actually got more people listening to my things because they're Narutards also If you like something, admit it, that's my point of view.

I run track and I like naruto. I'm not afraid to admit that I like anime in real life. I had some people on my team laughing at me because I was watching Yu Yu Hakusho at one of my track meets.

Naruto is the mother****ing shit. Started watching it back in high school, im a tall good looking popular dude, played on the varsity basketball team for 3 years, involved in many clubs and activities, and now I attend UC Irvine where im part of the school's Student Services, im an active member of a greek fraternity where i party and **** shit up every week! And you know what, i dont give a **** if i'm branded a nerd or weirdo for watching Naruto. Some of my friends make fun of me for openly liking anime/manga, but i dont really care because i know how awesome it is. Do what you have to do to make you happy.

I usually only give short accounts of my knowledge on Naruto and there aren't many that ask.
It may make me seem like a nerd sometimes, but that doesn't matter to me, as I already know I am one
