Should Naruto Uzumaki be named after his father's surname, not his mother's? Is it not in japanese culture to take up your father's surname rather than your own mother? Just a thought.

Plus Namikaze is a plain Family name and Uzumaki is a Grand Clan Name,that goes with the other great Clan Names like Uchiha,Senju and Hyuga as far as History and relationship to the SO6P.

I have 1 doubt regarding the child/children of Hashirama.. As Hashi is Senju & his wife Mito is Uzumaki, their children must be crazyly powerful, yet there is no information in manga.. as if their children's influence is almost nothing on the konoha village.. They sure lived long enough to have a daughter.. Tsunade, Hashi's grand daughter.. so what did they do till then.. as they are so powerful Half-senju, half uzumaki?

Such traditions are lame. Why are children not allowed to carry their mother's surnames. Kishi did right in making him carry his mother's surname.

He's an uzumaki, not a namikaze because hiruzen said so, so he wouldnt be blah blah blah. Oh, and probably something about obito in there aswell.
