I’ve been noticing that Naruto is starting to get really odd myths, like DBZ. Where the f**k did this rumor come from? I’m surprisingly seeing it more often now.

“Kishimoto said the strongest character in Naruto is Nappa level.”

Obviously, DB characters are stronger than Naruto characters, but Kishi has never said this. So, do anyone know the origin of this myth?

No clue, but Nappa casually leveled an entire city, Pain style, and he was weak af. There’s naruto characters that are stronger, but the strongest nardo characters cap out by Frieza arc if we compare power. Freiza and ss goku has the power to easily destroy planets, that’s pretty much we’re it stops in naruto, and easily is a stretch

Eight Gates is essentially a Kaioken. Therefore 8th gate Gai >= 20x Kaioken SSJGSSJ Goku confirmed.

But in all honesty, Gai would be the best fit in DBZ universe since he's the best to blend in with their fighting style, sans energy ball throwing.

YouTube and social media, I’ve seen before, but I never really thought much of it. When I saw it today it made me realize, there is going to be a lot of misinformation spreading as Naruto as series continues to age.

Idk that's one reason I really dislike it when people do versus between universes. It's true that Naruverse and DBZ are totally different.
Their "power levels" (pun intended) were never meant to be the same.

It's only natural that false information would get spread over time though. It happens with about everything.
Someone says that Kishimoto said this and some other guy believes it so he spreads it as well and it just keeps going on and on.

I wouldn't worry about it though. Anyone with any sense would know to look up information these days to verify it. You can't believe half of the "facts" on the internet any more. It's too easy to carry false information.

That and most die-hard Naruto fans would know that comparing Naruto character's powers to that of DBZ is a poor example to even make. Just not comparable.

That’s why I put them all by Frieza arc. I don’t recall if vegeta had any planet busters at 18k in the saiyan saga. There was still people like zarbon and the ginyu crew that had high powers, but didn’t show any super high levels of destruction

Indeed. Lets not forget that Ki is way more destructive in its usage than chakra.

Saiyan Saga Vegeta was powerful enough to destroy the earth. When he shot his Galick Gun at Goku, Goku said that if he dodged it, the earth was finished.

Android / Cell Saiga : JJ + JJ Jins

The only entity capable of reaching pass frieza saga in Naruto is Juubi and it's Jins: Hagaromo,Madara and Kaguya all canonically created planet level jutsu. With this said its quite plausible to believe they can use an enormous amount of chakra to perform an offensive ability capable of instantly wiping out the planet.

We dont know how strong the JJs are if they used all their chakra and focused it into one attack.


Frieza Arc: VOTE2 Naruto and Sasuke

At VOTE2 we saw the destructive capability of two Riku boosted shinobi when they pull ALL their chakra into 1 attack. I imagine a Juubi Jin could do the same but 100-1000x more powerful.

This is purely on raw chakra power output guessing. This doesn't factor in speed which DBZ characters are clearly WAY faster.

People are going too much by raw destructive capabilities when comparing Naruto and DB.

We all know that DB >>>>>>>> Naruto in the destructive energy attack department.

However, Naruto characters could still surpass and/or defeat DB characters in other ways, and with other techniques.

For example, what is there to protect someone like Goku or Krillin from getting caught with some kind of paralysis genjutsu? Sasuke could look into Krillin's eyes, paralyze him via genjutsu and then cut off his head with his sword.

Infinite tsukuyomi would oneshot them.

There's also other techniques like truth seeking balls that can destroy whatever they touch on at least a molecular level. This is not based on the power level of the user or the victim either (whereas in DB, an attack like Kamehameha could blow someone to atoms, but only if enough power is put into the attack). That's the actual effect of the ball (unlike with Kamehameha which is not specifically designed to reach atomic level, but it can with enough power).

Having said that, there is nothing stopping a tsb from hypothetically destroying a DB character (assuming that the user of the ball could actually hit said DB character with the ball).

Those are just a few examples.

since dbz characters don't have chakra I don't see standard genjutsu working. Also as I stated before. Dbz speeds correlate directly with their power levels which is not the case for naruto. With that said, how the hell can they hit a guy that moves so fast it's as if he sitting still?

You don't need chakara to get caught under genjutsu. Kaguya placed humans under the infinite tsukuyomi even before Hagoromo spread chakara to everyone. Besides, it's not like the DB characters have intel on the NV, so if a Naruto character plays their cards right, they could catch them off guard.

Look, I'm not saying that it is likely for a Naruto character to beat a DB character. It is not. I'm just saying that the chance is above 0, albeit really small, and that pure energy levels is not the way for the NV characters to do it in this case.
