Of course not. But you said Naruhina was too low down the polls for it to work, so I was just commenting on that.

Also, it wouldn't be every interesting if you already know the heroine gets with the main character. Does that mean Narusaku won't happen? No, it has a chance along with every living couple in this manga.

And yes, even Naruino has a chance. It'd be out of nowhere, but it could happen. Not high chance though, like 0.01%.

So is that a good enough excuse for him to end up with her? In these manga/anime it's always the good girl that gets ignored as if they're trying to display some kind of message with this kind of thing over and over. This caused me not to look at any kind of romance based manga or anime ever again.

For those of you saying that hinata isn't protected by plot shield, she totally is. Same with kakashi. Every work of fiction has their own rules regarding matters like this. For example, if you start getting a large string of flashbacks of someone, they're likely to die soon. If a character almost dies (or in kakashi's case DOES die) then it would be very bad story telling to up and kill them off right after they just got revived. It matters not if she's a side character, its just a simple art of rhetoric that she will live. Now i'm not saying that she won't, i'm just saying that it would be incredibly bad story telling
