Naruto MMORPG MAY arrive in 2012

Hello guys,

I was bored and started browsing about naruto when I saw a link to -Cannot Display Name-. I have been acquainted with the name since I was a member on there for about 2 years until it died out because everyone pretty much quit except the guy who came up with the idea. Anyways they finally reopened their forums (new site). I wanted to show you their progress.

Tell me what you guys think and what would you expect out of a Naruto MMO if it was possible to be made.

Customizable clothing, colors, height, weight, that kind of stuff. Also I would want to be able to choose what village you come from, clan, abilities, chakra nature, jutsu. Basically, ill take it if its anything cool.

They said this game they have been creating since forever will be in the style of vindictus online. If you don't know then youtube it and you should get an idea.

ive been waiting for something like and this looks pretty good!!! the graphics arent all that great but you cant expect all that much from an organization that isnt known by many. well, either way, ill probably get it, assuming it does come out.

i want the rinnegan!!!!!!

There is only one developer atm but he built everything form scrap. He needs help in making the models like NPCS and buildings. He already has the world built and is almost done with the lighting effects and is working on enviormental jutsu effects. There may be a demo next year but it depends on how fast his team works. The people that help him arent really active so it is taking him more time.

This game will be a free game but depending on how it goes he may either end up making a premium mall/shop or something of the sorts but he wants to get the game done before he even starts to even touch that subject.

When I started reading the thread about their up-to-date news they mentioned it being like gunz and I was going to trash it but then they went on to say it will be more like vindictus so I was relieved.

The developer said that in the beginning he will only have the rinnegan but later on it will be given to the strongest or somewhere along those lines.

I was pleased that he said the Uchiha/sharingan users would be underpowered because he wants people to try out the other clans/characters.

Canon characters more than likely wont be allowed because of copyright issues. They can however be NPCs but how I do not know.

hmmm... it'd be nice if he could pitch the game to or get help from some big-name producer like bandai-namco or something. but everything sounds nice. that vindictus game looks nice, i havent heard about it until today.

lmao, he would keep the rinnegan for a while .. i probably would too haha! and thats a pretty good idea with the whole uchiha/sharingan thing.. even though i wont be an uchiha anyways probably a senju/uzumaki or some made up clan
it'd be nice if the cannon characters arent even shown, make it more like an alternate universe or something, give the feel that you dont have to be like or compete to be stronger than a per-existing character. make it feel like anyone can be the strongest

Well he's been in the talks with Viz media for 2 years now but no word so he will work under a free user license and if viz decides to jump onboard there will be no objections.
