For generations since Ashura and Indra, the successors were always uchiha and senju. Those two powers combined = hagoromo.

It's been widely speculated and it makes sense that Hamura was represented as hyuga and uzumaki. Assuming he didn't have children, the two clans should have been out of the equation, and even if he did have children, they would have their own separate transmigration (assuming there was a struggle)

Essentially we may have a cross-transmigration where Hagoromo and Hamura's successors have mixed.

Anyway, this doesn't matter; what matters is that Naruto and Sasuke received the necessary Yang / Yin (respectively) to seal Kaguya. They received their halves directly from Hagoromo.

Do you have mangaphaks to back up that Ashura and Indra always reincarnted in senju & Uchiha? To my knowledge it's only been Hashirama and Mdara previously that have been shown, who's to say that other reincanations weren't different?

Uzumakis are related to the senjus (like cousins, so it still would make sense if the uzumakis are hamuras descendants)

But the thing that screwed it up was that there werent any Senju boys around/born when the new cycle began. Only Uchiha and Uzumaki. As for hyuugas, Neji was so much older plus its the wrong doujutsu. And hamuras defendants could probably be girls and have a different transmigrant cycles
