If Minato and Kushina were alive or not, like Mito, Kushina would have gotten older, and a new host would have been needed. Naruto being the only person with the same bloodline as Kushina to host TB in the Leaf would have been the prime candidate.

But being raised by a genius Hokage, and Mother with genes as strong as Senju, that knows ancient Uzumaki sealing techs, Naruto would have been a privileged child, and may have not been able to overcome Kurama's hatred. It was the pain of being isolated & mistreatment that gave Naruto strength and resolve to endure and defeat it.

I guess that instead of befriending Kurama he would have used the same method of Kushina with those chains, relying on FTG and Rasengan, Fuuton and Fuinjutsus. And he would have become an host as a teen, i guess, or maybe even older. In the end, i guess he would be weaker in terms of firepower than his own war arc variant without Hagoromo's aid, but more tactic and haxed overall due to Minato's teachings.
