Everything I get on that page (FireFox) to read manga scans, I get lag, freezes, and an unresponsive webpage.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Delete all of firefox history and disable all the add ons, it won't lagg then.

Chrome is good and again it can be because of slow internet or cache and dnscache. Try the basics.
