The manga has limited romance....it is more like too many people have made too many romance threads

It is pretty much decided romance wise, and yet people still post threads on them...

simply this ^^, i really don't care about any romance in a series ( just show me the fights and an epic story) but its true the fans talk about the romance way too much (no offence to anyone).

Last chapter was a first one in the whole manga with Naruto holding hands with a girl and you're already " Too much romance"? Dude...

This ^ I haven't seen romance in Naruto. Mainly one sided love from Sakura loving Sasuke and Naruto who use to be an idiot and liked sakura. Now it seems some sense was knocked into his head (lest hope) and will give Hinata a chance. Plus, naruto needs to have a child! do you think he can f*ck sasG@Y and get a child to follow his foot steps! =.=

Say what you like, but I have to agree with topic creator.
Its not so much there's too much romance, but they put it in the middle of an awesome fight.
I don't care if there's a bit of romance as long as it doesn't interfere with the action scenes.

its not just with the naruhina stuff, its when Naruto asked Kushina how her and Minato fell in love.
I don't know why but I just found it really out of character for him.
I just can't imagine the childish naruto asking a question like that.

Are you kidding me? Of course the childish Naruto would never ask a question like that! He was a child. Naruto is 16 now... his viewpoints, his goals, and his maturity have all changed and shifted in the story. He is growing up.

This isn't a kid story anymore. Naruto is not 12 any longer. Because he is now 16, it is totally acceptable for Kishi to start putting romance into the story. Most people at this age start to have stronger feelings for the opposite ***.

And who cares if he held Hinata's hand? Big deal! The point she was trying to get across to Naruto is that he needs to continue fighting for his loved ones! Something that has also been seen in shows like DBZ, Pokemon, etc. She was THAT character that snapped him out of his shock. Each series has someone that does something like that. For example... Android 16 and Gohan... Kuwabara and Yusuke... get the point?

This ^ +1.

The romance in Naruto is not abundant, true. Its subtle but way too integral. All that Naruto (the anime not character) is: wars, ninjas, tailed beasts, politics, missions, ninja codes, villains, conspiracy etc. And it all comes down to the villain, Obito, doing what he is doing because he lost the love of his life. Naruto, the hero, on the other hand, summonsed the strength thanks to his love interest.

Not to mention that even thought part of his quest to find sasuke is because he seems him as a brother, he is still persuing sasuke to keep his promise to the girl that he, Naruto, has (or had after 615) a crush on.

Again, its fair to say that the romance isnt abundant in the anime, but still it plays too much of a driving role in the plot. If the OP feels a bit peeved by it, then she has the right to.

Lastly, as the person I quoted said, why bring that stuff in at the middle of an epic fight? that speech could have easily been delivered by kakashi, or the other guy who first acknowledged naruto.

Shonen Jump manga isn't supposed to have romance? You clearly haven't read Bakuman, another shonen title.

I really think that this series, that I have been following since I was 8(14 now) has way too much romance and stuff. I thought that Naruto is a shounen manga, but it is too much shoujo-like stuff lately. Even me, being a girl, is sick of it. I really hope Kishi will stop with this stuff and get back to epicness.
I honestly appreciate that Oda didnt put any romance in his manga too(just caught up with the manga half an hour ago)

It barely has any romance in it

I'm going to have to agree with rollin. There was no romance at all in the last chapter. Hinata snapped Naruto out of his stupidity, then they marched toward the monsters. How is that romance? Only when you have two weeks to analize the story at every angle would you get the conclusion "hey, this is the same Hinata who confessed her love to Naruto during the Pain arc, but was friendzoned the second Sakura came up to hug him".

Next to no romance in it otherwise there would at least have been kisses and more handholding. It was silly at the start with the little girls all having a crush on Sasuke instead of training. But now it's alot more serious. Human feelings do not disturb it at all, they add to the atmosphere. I hate stories where people act like robots. Pure action mangas are not my thing.

I thought this was a joke.

There is practically no romance in Naruto, and what little there is is portrayed in an absolutely awful way. It's a shame, really - I love the whole 'grow up with the characters' thing and I'm also a sucker for romance, but in this series I don't think there's one romantic relationship that's even remotely touching with the exception of Jiraiya and Tsunade, just because it was pretty darn sad.

If anything, there's not enough romance or just 'normal problems' - Hell they're supposed to be SIXTEEN right? They certainly don't act like that.
