I really think that this series, that I have been following since I was 8(14 now) has way too much romance and stuff. I thought that Naruto is a shounen manga, but it is too much shoujo-like stuff lately. Even me, being a girl, is sick of it. I really hope Kishi will stop with this stuff and get back to epicness.
I honestly appreciate that Oda didnt put any romance in his manga too(just caught up with the manga half an hour ago)

Please tell me you're not a 'shipper', Naruto can't handle it when a guy smiles directly at him, do you think he's gonna handle a girl? Naruto's personality is still a lot like it was three years ago, generally, he's goofy and kid-like, when things get tough, he wises up.

It doesn't, I honestly was completely oblivious (in the sense that I barely noticed it) to the romantic subtext of the manga until I started reading forums. The problem, however, is that the fandom broaches it too much which is why it may appear that it is all that significant to some people but, in reality, it isn't.
