this always happens naruto gets shitter and shitter and then bang theres an awesome chapter that makes up for everything

This is true, it was the same with the Kages, when Naruto was trolling the Kages it was so boring and then bam Madara came, 559-560 were one of the best chapters of Naruto IMO, after that Madara became so boring :( He just talks all the time and spam Susano'o to get bounced and punched from one way to the other like a volleyball.

What is the problem of this? Madara fanboys/Kage fanboys/Naruto fanboys/Tobi fanboys will get really impatience, instead Kishi should do for example:
Sasuke & Itachi vs Kabuto 10 pages
Madara vs Kages 6 pages
This will make things go much quicker and it will reduce the "waiting" problem because now we get to see 2 scenes in 1 chapter and we don't have to see things we don't wanna see, like I want to see Tobi vs Naruto now... I hope you understand what I'm trying to say here.

There would be no way to have a coherent chapter if you were to skip constantly between the different fights, plus I imagine it would be far harder to draw. How could Kishi develop the story if he only dedicates a few panels for each sub-plot, and tries to advance them together? It makes more sense to dedicate a few chapters to each fight, to get the story to some logical stopping point, before switching to another scene.

Describing a war in a manga (or any story) is far harder than following a small team doing a mission, both in terms of plot development and artistic effort. You have a larger scope and have to sketch many more characters and different scenes, linking them together. There is no way to create these slow emotional sequences that consist only of a few familiar characters, like Team 7 search for Sasuke, Sasuke's fight against Itachi, etc. Reading one little driblet at a time also makes this hard to follow.
On top of that, Kishimoto has to deal with tying up a lot of loose ends as he is moving the story towards the conclusion.

It may not be perfect, but producing 15-18 dense pages each week with fights, character development and a consistent and engaging story is quite a fit. Kudos to Kishimoto for a great job!

Five pages in i'm sure you have been flamed enough (possibly with good reason) but I will tell you this. Chapters have high and low points. Some are talking, some are action, some just seem like nothing happened (like this week). But looking at a chapter in itself is narrow minded, the importance of what is happening may not become obvious until a few chapters time. Instead of treating it like a chapter, consider the whole story a book and try reading a few chapters at once and than the new chapter (I usually read 3-4 before). At the moment its like you looking at one leaf on a tree and judging the whole forest.

lol do i sense a op fanboy the story full of plot holes?

true it can be hard to make a story with no plot holes.
But out of any other manga i have been reading naruto has the most.
And speakiong of the plot..... a lot of times it is very predictible. It wasnt as predictible in naruto part 1..but when shippuden started i have to admnit it has gotten predictable.
I have been able to predict almost the whole story.
I cant speak of OP since i never have taken the time to read it.

i am a person who said that the manga overall is on it's way down since the start of shippuuden, but i have to say that atm, i'm quite happy with it. it's not as epic as it could be, but at least atm there arent huge plotholes or retarded things happening.

i like the currently shown fights, at least it's not hero-polyphem vs. odysseus, like before. sage mode is kinda a letdown, but at least we see some snake jutsus that do something. sasuke is for once not on the emo-insanity trip and madara is pretty cool, although he currently doesnt suit the action to the word and probably wont, since he'd kill them otherwise, which is not possible.

Haha +Rep xd never thought that was going to read a comment like that from you.

Its true though. I mean the sharigan alone is one of the most op kg out there due to its abilities and kishi has totally forgotten about that and now its all about spamming ms techniques. Also we have seen other ninjutsu feats from kakashi and sasuke that has nothing to do with their ms, yet we have seen only a handle full of ninjutsu from itachi excluding his ms and although you can argue his main fighting style is genjutsu he activated the sharigan (8) before kakashi and sasuke got their at (13).

He must've other ninjutsu's other than ms techniques and as i said ive seen enough of susano tbh. Madara has spammed it enough already

Well think of it this way, if the manga is "exciting" all the way through then the average scale of the storyline is exciting, WHICH MEANS the scale gets changed and "exciting" turns into "normal" after you've gotten used to reading it at say, the "level of exciting". Now imagine yourself trying to create a manga that can ONLY stay exciting due to reader complaints, you'll have such a hard a stressfull time thinking of each chapter. Not only that, but if "exciting" turns into "normal" then the readers will only be still complaining that the story is not exciting enough and needs to be EVEN MORE exciting. That puts Kishi, in this case, into a difficult situation.

So the point is that the need to add your so called "boring" parts to the story is neccesary in order to satisfy your need for exciting parts when Kishi suddenly springs something up on us.

the difference is that one piece doesnt take itself seriously.
either i create something that is to some extend a gag manga-shonen-mixture which is supposed to make fun, be a bit dreamy and have some cool characters. then plot holes that arent to obvious are okay. who cares if in 16 pages full of absurdity one action doesnt make sense?

or i create a serious, intelligent story. it's more fascinating, often more touching and thrilling. on the other hand, if the story is intelligent, then it should make sense, or i cant take it serious. that's why the second ending of death note is such a letdown. in one piece, it would have been fine if the evil guy does something stupid. in deathnote it's absolutely not.

@sage kyubi naruto:
i read through both of them, and i have to say that kishi makes the bigger mistakes and is less stable in his plotwriting.
you may argue that there's lot that's not explained in op, but at least the characters are to some extend predictable. naruto's character act often random while at the same time the battles and especially their end are predictable. with oda it's the other way round, which is way better.

if something happens in op where i'm thinking "wtf just happened" it's been always some kind of joke or trolling. maybe except for the giraffe.
