[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 687 Discussion and 688 Predictions

3/5 for me. Too many flashbacks. All of it was just spent on Obito talking to Naruto. Wished Obito had more time to talk to Kakashi and Sasuke. Anyway, I found this on another forum site and it's so true:
I'm so confused... So naruto and sasuke get the So6p's chakra and naruto gets a new form, truth seeking balls, plus an array of new tailed beast rasengan and all sasuke gets is teleportion? Teleportion which he cant always use because it has to charge? He has the sage's charka! Their should be no buffering time! Sasukes power up was already underwhelming as hell, but now Kishi lets Kyauga dodge sasuke Hypersonic + attack only to be later hit by naruto's? Makes 0 sense especially when naruto himself said sasuke was faster.
I have to agree with this person. Sasuke's powers are so underwhelming compared to Naruto.

Naruto has all the tailed beasts and the light power along with his Sage mode and Sasuke has the dark power and Rinnegan if you mix the two you get the Sage of six paths complete power signified by his staff

RIP to one of my favourite character; Obito was responsible for almost all the major events in this manga and the story would not be possible without him. In fact, if Obito stayed evil and died against Kakashi in the Kamui world, I would have called him one of the greatest villains of all time. However, he is more complicated than just a villain and it was nice to see him get closure.
Also, too many people are being harsh on Naruto for calling Obito "the coolest guy" and saying that he killed his parents. Naruto has perspective unlike most of you and reasoned with Obito's life and choices. A similar situation was when Sasuke found out the truth about Itachi and even though Itachi killed his parents, Sasuke still said "you were perfect" to edo Itachi.
All in all, this was a great chapter and concluded one of my favourite characters. The only thing I didn't like about Obito was when he tried to Rinne Tensei everyone after returning from the Kamui Dimension. Other than that, he was a great addition to this manga.

did anyone see the person in the back ground on page 6 first panel to the right of Naruto´s dama ball... looks like sasukes outline but sasuke is right next to them... any especulations on who it might be?

I honestly feel like there's a hole in me now that obito is gone. Nobody will ever step in the kamui dimension ever again.... This isn't really relevant but, there definitely has to be a third part. I will cry if there isn't.
A solid 4/5. Despite being a lot of flash backs and somewhat worthless conversation. I'm wondering how Sasuke with his teleportation couldn't hit Kaguya, but Naruto, who honestly seemed to teleport, cuts off her damn arm. Is BZ no longer going to be a sleeve monster? I hope so because it's annoying.

Things i didn't like in this chapter
I will keep this short and sweet.
1. Naruto's inconsistency in speed and smartness
At one point he can't even dodge kaguya's attacks and after getting an emotional boosts, he out speeds a S/T user and speed blitzes the main villain.
He is displayed really really dumb sometimes but he is also displayed as smartest guy on earth.
For example here :
I don't think i need to put pages of his smartness, he have shown more than enough against kaguya !
2. Naruto saying Obito was the coolest guy.
Well, obito was the main reason naruto's parents died,the reason why sasuke became evil, the reason why thousands of people died in the ninja war and a lot of boy became orphan,a lot of ladies became widows.
He was also the leader of akatsuki once and caused tremendous damage to the whole shinobi even if we exclude the war.
Obito is anything but a cool guy.
In the real world, he would be worse than osama bin laden.
No matter what he do now it wont make up for what he did in the past. You can't replace the value of a human life.
Just because he realized his mistakes in the end would not help anyone and he is NOT A COOL GUY let alone the coolest guy.
He is mass murderer and deserves to rot in hell!
3. Obito not apologizing to sasuke.
Obito killed most of the uchiha in uchiha clan. Obito told the truth about itachi to sasuke and used various methods to control him for his own good.
He is one of the reason sasuke became evil, when he himself came back to good side, he should have at least apologized to sasuke for helping in massacre of his clan and tell him how wrong his path was and some life lessons he learnt which would further help sasuke.
Its like kishi completely forgot obito even had a role in uchiha clan massacre.
4. Fairy tail approach in the manga
"Power of friendship > your fav."
"Friendship power solos"
This is basically what happened when naruto speed blitzed kaguya.
Obito dies -> naruto gets an emotional boost -> he does something which should be impossible in normal circumstances.
5. Trolling sasuke
It is Self explanatory but i will still say it :/
I mean, few chapters ago , sasuke said , "omg even susano doesn't work"
What he do? Uses susano :|
We all know, kaguya can absorb ninjutsu , even naruto was smart enough to know that yet ...
Sasuke uses a ninjutsu attack on her :|
Do you guys agree with me?
If not, on what point and please state reason for that.

naruto is a badass for chopping kaguya's arm off xd I hope he starts going hard and takes this fight more seriously. This chaoter was a good one 5/5 and obito;s death wasn't bad so I don't why everyone is facepalming so hard XD(not the best death of a character but not the worst)
