[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 684 Discussion and 685 Predictions

There was nothing to build upon as a cliff hanger like that, the chapter felt unfinished. There was some good moments though. I hope next chapter will have more plot development.

What happenned is that the real Naruto didn't achieve to go through the dimension.

Then Black Zetsu thought that Naruto entered with 2 clones; and that the clones disappeared; but what really happenned is that who came in was NarutoClone, Sakura and Obito (thanks to Kamui). Then Sakura and Obito hided in Obito's dimension; (that's why Black Zetsu said that the "clones"( Sakura and Obito) disappeared). That also explains why Naruto didn't really die, and the clones already exist in the ice world.

I'm sure it has to be this way!

I don't understand though, Kaguya said a clone wouldn't have been able to get through right?

I think Naruto, the real one couldn't travel through her dimension for some reasons and the clone actually came from kunai dimension (he was already in there before). He came out to Kaguya' s dimension when Obito and Sakura were jumping to kunai dimension to hide themself.

My mini theory about Kakashi entering dimension:
He used a Transformation Jutsu to turn into Naruto and Izanami to save himself from that hole in his stomach.

Studying the last 3 panels closely, I can say that It was a naruto clone that was killed... kishi always differenciate between the original And clones by means of the truth seeking balls. The one killed by kaguya has no ball at it's back while the one attempting to enter the dimension was shown with balls, Then, I believe the one killed must have been the clone with obito And sakura teleported via kamui

Naruto's clone did make the jump to the Centre dimension and the real naruto just pretended he is going to follow her and when kaguya said a clone wont be able to travel through dimension so he has to be real one she was correct but I think we are missing the fact here that it was naruto's clone sakura and obito traveling through the dimension and it goes without saying sakura is a medic too so she healed naruto and shared her chakra with the clone just that he could make it to the dimension and when zetsu said the other two didn't make it was diversion planned by obito and naruto where naruto clone diverted there attention to him and obito Kamui to his dimension...

woah.... what is going on??? So much awesomeness in this chapter... it seems like if Kaguya gets serious then she can kill anybody... I'm guessing Naruto is able to switch himself with a KB if he's in danger... and what was Kaguya's attack?.. was that mokuton? and wait how did Kakashi get in to the dimension without Kamui?

Kakashi is in the ice dimension only sakura and obito have traveled into the other dimension....
Naruto swapping places with his clones I doubt that

I enjoyed the chapter seeing Naruto utilize all the Tailed beast's abilities and using them to a such a degree in such a small amount of time was awesome. I believe the real Naruto hide with the clones and sent those clones into the dimension not because he couldnt' go but to distract "Mother" Lol. Kurama refined Naruto's chakra to be able to hide Obito and Sakaura so the black zetsu wouldn't be ableto to detect them.

with all the OP feats naruto's been able to pull recently, I wont be surprised if he's not dead because he can create true replicas of himself now

I think this chapter is to cleverly setup the next one.
Obito previously needed Sakura and Naruto to travel dimensions. When they appear it's only Sakura with him.
I think he took the Naruto clone with him, then Obito and Sakura hid in Obito's dimension. She thought it was two clones disappearing (not Obito and Sakura).
Naruto never says he is the real one: "What If I Am?" This probably to lead her on.
When Kaguya defeats *the clone*, she thinks it was the real one and expects nothing left of Naruto. So she returns to Ice realm.
To her suprise the real one never entered her dimension (maybe another one? or still in ice realm) so his clones remain.

Not sure what Kakashi meant at the end.

i think the one that got hit by kaguya is the clone who went with obito and sakura, Naruto just made it look like it was the real one who got into the dimension.

Decent chapter. I'm slightly confused, though. Naruto said he can still sense Sasuke's chakra but how is that possible when he's in a different dimension? I'll have to wait for VIZ then... Also, I have no idea what happened in the last few pages. I guess I should start reading again, this time, at a slower pace Lol

And nice to see Naruto using the Bijuu's power again. I missed the connections he made with them. It was also cool to see Kaguya using the bone pulse technique, a KKG that Kimimaro (who was a member of the Kaguya clan) possessed.

I don't know if anyone has answered this, but Naruto can sense Sasuke's chakra when no one else can't:

Anyway, I would say 4.5/5 for me. People are saying this is a "filler", but I disagree completely. How can it be a filler if we learned...

- that Obito is "going to die soon" (it's canon unless plot no jutsu happens again)
- BZ *could* be the final villain, and probably will be
- BZ is afraid of Naruto
- Kaguya has a limited chakra:

Open questions:

What Kaguya she need to "save" that chakra for? For making the white zetsu army? Hmm...
Since the clones did not disappear, Naruto is still alive - has he found Sasuke and how did he replace himself with the clone so fast?
