Seriously, how is Kishi going to kill Might Guy after he almost killed Jubi Madara, when the 5 freaking Kages lost to him without the Jubi five against one and they all lived...

Might Guy has proven that with sheer effort and determination, one can destroy the biggest of mountains and any obstacle we may face...

Might Guy is by far one of the best characters and strongest I now think top 5 characters in Naruto

Im so freakin HAAPPPYYYY and pleased to see my boy gai sensei whoop some Overpowered Madara butt with a certain life threatening death moveeee and possibly coming out alive at the end.. THANKKK you goddd kishii pleaseee to goddd let gai sensei live... he just lost a student and is definitely one of the top 5 shinobi in existence. it just isnt right to let the THUMBS up , crack a smile anytime champ of the world die... GAi sensei was already doing two thousand pushups in his moms belly before he was even born yet.. This guy has been trainging for life and after all hes been through he jus deserves to live. But anyone lets get back to being serious.. Im so happy if naruto actually somehow jus saves him even if he ends up beiing in a wheel chair to mentor the future shinobi..i wouldnt care if every other shinobi drop dead at the moment gai sensei has to live and it wouldnt be cheesy if naruto saves him at all.. In the previous gates we saw gai sensei possible move so fast he would be able to keep up with raikages incredible fastest speed and even tobi or the 4th hokage.. but in the last gate , he was fast the space around him just moved for him while he was so fast he didnt even need to move. we all know how epic and powerful and rare opeing all the gates were that , 1 madara acknowledged him. 2 he was so powerful he was jus gonna disappear into dust . 3 he probably saved the rest of the shinobi alliance by defeat the rest of the enemies kickin the tree. i can write all day but i will end it by saying ,,, im glad he lives and i would complain if this happened to anyone other shinobi even naruto or sasuke but for it to happen to gai sensei there really is no bettter way for his character in this story to survive.. p.s dont even bother replying to complain to me i dont wanna hear it. i am well aware he might still die or , be in a wheel chair , handicap , or vegetable for the remainder of his life. gai sensei is a legend and deserved for this outcome to happen to him and only him

I don't really have a problem with gai not dying, the main problem I have is that kishi pretty much always said that if you open the 8th gate, you die. And with these recent chapters, gai's character was build up in a manner that he was probably going to die. Thus, naruto arriving at the last minute and saving him was a bit disapointing for me.

And yes, the "Arrives at the last minute" trope is used often in animes but it would've been good to have an exception for once.

To me it feels like kishi originalLy planned to have gai die but somehow, he had to change his plans at the last minute because his editor or some other reason so that is why he had to come up with this.

I don't mind gai surviving, what I don't like is the way it was built up.

Kishi is really going for a simplified look for naruto and sasuke's sage power up. Naruto, aside from his pupils, looks completely normal. With how normal Naruto looks, I feel like sasuke will have either a regular pair of sharingan that will be able to do everything an EMS can or Indra's sharingan (preferably the

I loved this chapter. 5/5.

1. I'm on the whole prolonging gai's life idea. I believe that the gate of death truly lives up to it's expectations and that Kakashi, Lee, etc, will hear what their mentor/friend has to say before he passes on to the next world.

2. Naruto and Sasuke's entrances were epic as expected. Will Naruto fight Madara alone or will Sasuke join the fight? I wonder what those markings on there hands will grant them in terms of power.

3. That gai and kakashi flashback had me on the fence but could have been deemed necessary to see where there rivalry began.

I'm trying to figure this s**t out too! Maybe it symbolizes complete control over BSM? Regardless I liked this chapter. Everyone should've known that Kishi wasn't gonna let Madara die by the hands of someone who isn't the main character, and I'm glad Guy was saved. If he had died, it would've been for nothing and Naruto wasn't about to let anymore friends die. Can't wait for next week

Sasuke is defintiely going to have a destructive power since Naruto is healing now. Kishi uses Asian mythology and Sasuke has a crescent moon on his hand, a symbol associated with Shiva the Destroyer. I think Kishi has another plot twist coming, which is why Sasuke's answer wasn't shown.

First of. This chapter was a 5/5 for me. We got to see the real power of the eight gate, that almost killed Juubidara. And second, people here are complaining about Gai not dying. If you see on the last panel you see Gai´s heart, almost no chakra around it and Gai is literally turning into ashes. The eight gate´s Night moth killed him. The eight gate did its job it released enormous amount of power, that even Madara acknowledged and it killed Gai at the end. Yes it seemes Naruto revived Gai, But still the eight gate killed him, then if Kishi dont want to kill him of by using Naruto as a lifesaver well its his anime.

I have to say this has got to be one of my new favorite chapters.
Gai almost KILLED Rikudou Madara. Night Moth was just so awesome I can't put it into words.
The only thing I didn't like about this chapter is that Naruto saves Gai at the end.
Kinda makes his sacrifice look meaningless, and everyone knows that FEELS make a good manga/movie/ whatever it is.

I guess team Gai has lost enough members already, though.. lol
