Two different situatiobs to determine the difference IMO.

Madara has Hashirama's Sage mode and His juubi is more complete.

Obito was weakened and on the verge of death, so that may be the reason.

Extremely rushed

when i was reading it, i was like "wait what? madara's already bringing out juubi and sealing it?"
i mean it took several hours for the damn mazo to turn into juubi last time. is madara THAT strong with his rinnegan that he speeds up the process?
or maybe its because the bijuus meshed together faster due to only being apart for a few hours as opposed to obito's fight where the juubi had been in pieces for 2000 years.
nevertheless i felt like it was an afterthought compared to sakura. which, dont get me wrong because im a sakura fan, is horrible writing to make the final villain's final transformation into the ultimate powerhouse threat, a mere secondary event to sakura trying to save naruto. kishi meant it when he said he was rushing to the finale.

she one panelled spiral zetsu's buddha and she tanked mokuton spikes as well and healed herself

You do realize that mouth to mouth was not needed. His lungs function perfectly fine, he is not choking. All he needed was for his hearth to be started. Mouth to mouth was a nice little bonus.

Sh*t is f*cked up right now. Madara is winning and Naruto is dying . Do you realize how important Naruto is in this war? Besides being the one who moves people on, he is one of the most powerful ninjas in the battlefield. If he dies, its game over. There is no "Nice little bonus". Anything- and i mean ANYTHING that helps Naruto survive is more than needed.
