Although, now that I think about it, it could be foreshadowing. Kishi showed this one thing from real medical science, when he was under no obligation to do so (the rest of his portrayal of medicine is total bullshit, after all). Or he could be working the "desperate sakura" angle; she is resorting to more desperate methods because she is out of chakra.

And I've done enough CPR to know the first thing on a medic's mind when he's doing CPR is the life of the patient, not kissing. Just as Sakura was intent into getting straight into Naruto's heart, not minding his ribs.

Because we know this is Naruto and a story that centers around the main character "Naruto."

That's story writing 101. If you are going to write even remotely believable characters, you have to 'close them in' the box that is the story.

What the ...? Like I said last time. Madara is way too powerful before he come back to life. None of the people other than the 1st had a chance fighting him. Now he is alive and is stronger, then got one eye back and are even more powerful. I don't think combined of the current Kage's from now to the past with full power naruto and sasuke can entirely beat him. I felt like even if Naruto got the 10 tails in him, he might still be a little trouble fighting Madara. Now, Madara became the 10 tail's Jinchuriki. Now he has another boost in like 10 times the power from before. I don't see any possible fight. It seems to me that the fight is over. It does not seems like he need the left eye to finish everyone off. Getting the left eye is like another 2x times the power. Not unless Kishi is planning to make a weakness for being 10 tail's jinchuriki or lose the 10 tails, or suddenly the god fruit appears, or everyone give their chakra to Naruto or Sasuke as substitute for the god fruit where the original chakra pasted to ninjas.
