Please shikamaru is not fit for hokage he is a strategist not someone who is capable of protecting, people he is more like those old married couple that always annoy tsunade than the actual hokage...naruto fits hokage, he loved to protect and he has the power for it.

The third Hokage was younger than Naruto when he became Hokage, so age is not a problem in the matter. Any way, Sasuke is way ahead in becoming Hokage than is Naruto.
