if you remember in the 2 episodes when Tobi reveals the truth about Itachi to Sasuke, he mentions the 9 Tails attacking the village, thus the higher ups thinking the Uchiha were trying to take control over the Senju Clan. So when Sasuke says "I will delete the past" he will delete the Kyuubi, that ultimately ended up in Itachi having to murder his clan. He see's Naruto as the reason his clan was murdered, because the 9 tails is inside of him. thats my theory

Why did Tobirama need to rip those special explosive tags out of his chest? where they inside his edo body? or did he just not have enough time to reach inside his armor to find the bombs and decided the quickest way was well...this.

The flashback with the Photo of Team 7, in Sasuke's mind showed Naruto being scratched out, I would say that's pretty siginificant.

I think those tags arise Edo tenseis. After all, madara said the jutsu was meant for "wiping out battlefields" so all Edo bodies have those tags. It makes sense when you consider what tobirana said " its the first time I use them with my own body"

The entire thing must be taken into context. On the previous panel, Juubito attempts to impale Naruto , but Sasuke stops him with Susanoo.

To which Sasuke replies, "Not you, -I- will delete the past(naruto)."

Sasuke still wants to eliminate Naruto.
