It's not that the juubi had anything to do w/ Itachi. It's just that Sasuke is probably becoming the new Danzo. He's basically getting that mentality of protecting the world at all costs. Completely destroying the 10 tails would eliminate the threats of wars over tailed beasts, another revival of the 10 tails and tailed beast attacks on villages.

I thought it was to kill the 10tails completely so the Biju will be destroyed as well... If that's his plan, he'll probably do something to Naruto and Bee since they still have theirs.
Opinion on Sakura's and Tsunade's abilities
This chapter has supported my theory about katsuyu. I think katsuyu is the only member of the slug family due to the fact that her mode of reproduction is thru parthenogenesis. That is why she can be summoned at the same time because all slugs in the shikkotsu forrest are basically parts of her (which I think is sad if this was proven) but the cool thing for me is their thoughts are linked with one another. So when sakura summoned her in the battle field the katsuyu with the kages are not affected.
Also, not that i'm defending sakura but im just trying to make some logic of her recent power up. First, I think we have to establish the difference between skill and knowledge. It was shown in the manga how skillful sakura is with her chakra control, being able to master the byakugou seal and we can attest to her healing abilities and as a desciple of a sanin i think we are expecting this to happen (but i guess kishi's timing for sakura to complete the byakugou is a bit cheeky). Having said that, even though she accomplished all this we should not think that she is now a sanin caliber such as her master because I feel that tsunade still has a lot more knowledge not only as a medic-nin but also in the battle field. In summary I dont think sakura's abilities that was recently flaunted was OPed.
As for Tsunade's ability to heal herself is for me a little bit to much. I mean she was separated in half, and were not only talking about muscles and bones but also vital organs that was severed. Remember when she operated on rocklee's spinal cord injury? She even said if he opted to take the operation his chances of surviving is 50/50, and that is when she will operate at her prime condition with all the necessary equipment in a hospital. And now she separated in half in a freakin wilderness, able to make seals and heal other people and herself (mind you this is if kirin just gave her chakra and she was the one who healed herself, if the opposite is the case kirin has freakin good healing abilities able to stitch back body parts). I know she has senju genes in her but she does not have hashirima's cells (abilities for that matter) for her to be able to sustain that injury and survive (given that her creation rebirth jutsu was not active at this moment). I think kishi went too far on tsunade's ability in this.

Jealousy is pathetic. Obito is doing this because of the death of one person. Sasuke's reason is to protect the world from the pain he felt when he lost his entire clan. If anything, Sasuke has the best reason. Destroying the juubi was not an evil choice. In fact, I'd agree with Sasuke if it wasn't for the fact that the tailed beasts actually have names and personalities and feelings.

5/5 for me.... it had alllll...action ( little bit though ), humor, plot building... i mean everything...

when i knew that Tsunade is alive i was like XD :ls:

and orochimaru has a soft corner in him????????
but i think he is still a badass and he is going to be the final villain

1) madara fights hashi....
2) both kakashi and obito die( i guess obito changes before he dies )
3) MINATO will be the one to deal with the JUBBI
4) naruto sasuke fight happens
5) kages and the other sinobi deals with orochimaru....and i guess tsunade and oro dies.....
cant wait for the next chapter though......

Why is every one saying obito has senju dna so he wont die, its because he has the zetsu dna in him and i know its made from senju dna ut if a normal senju got attacked by what kakashi did they would die so no its not because of the senju dna.

Anyway this chapter was great, changed my opinion on Sakura drastically that she is not the same little Sasuke fan girl like we thought she was going to end up again. Brilliant!
Sasuke wouldn't listen to Naruto. Hmmm I wonder if Sasuke plans on killing Bee & Naruto to kill the Bijuu's? I didn't think Bijuu's can die anyway? I'm sure in the manga it stated that they are able to come back after some time? So it pointless killing them if their going to come straight back.

healing rock lee after his battle with garaa was considered a life threatening operation and took awhile to recover... tsunade reconnecting her own body and spinal cord and then being ready for battle 3 minutes later aint no thang though.

Dammit this sucks. Narytos going to turn into one of those "and they killed each other, the end" stories isn't it? Maybe I should just stop reading. Their killing all my fav characters and naruto will probably be next. Then naruhina will never happen and sasuke will turn into Danzo this is pointless
nobody dies anymore in this manga. stupid tsunade and all kages are alive . wtf.
even if some one dies he is shown to be a good man ,who choose evil just bcoz of condition.

I loved this chapter, but took off 1 because of all the fighting between Zuigetsu and Karin. It was kinda unnecessary and those slides could of been used for something much more interesting, like seeing more of Naruto & Sasuke in the battlefield, or more of Kakashi and Obito. Other than that, the chapter was great, and I feel sad for Kakashi at the end! But knowing him......... I don't think he's done yet.

Lol, Suigetsu and Karin are hilarious. Tsunade LIVES!!!! Still think Orochimaru's speech about Jiraya changing if he had lived is a load of bull.
I doubt Kakashi will die, considering we just saw somebody ripped in half at the waist put back together and is just fine. Besides, he still has that destiny to fulfill that Sakumo was talking about.
