Very good chapter with lots of story lines peaking interest. Minato's cloak, Madara put on back burner, 4 Kage technique, Naruto/Sakura tease, and of course Sasuke regaining his Will of Fire. This kind of chapter makes up for all the setting up.

that was pretty good except for the weird Sasuke shocker...Sasuke STILL has everything wrong...HE STILL DOESN'T UNDERSTAND ITACHI OR THE LEAF OR NARUTO!!!

oh and this confirms it (not that it really needed confirming...) that the 4th's "gift" to Naruto is the full Kyuubi chakra. when he had kyuubi mode on i thought Naruto had suddenly healed :scorps:

other thoughts:
-Despite Minato's Kushina reference, we all know it's going to be Hinaruto in the end.
-Hashirama was a BOSS yelling at Madara to hold his horses!!!
-<3 the hokages comparing their skills to each other
-<3 the "brace yourselves I just tossed a nuke into the ocean" moment
-Also liked the moment by the peers when Sasuke shows up and announces his plan.

What makes you think he doesn't understand? He said he wanted to change and protect the village and he plans to accomplish that by becoming Hokage. Now tell me how do you think that this is wrong? Cause honestly Sasuke right now understands what the true role of a hokage is and wants to do something with it. He's following Itachi's words and protecting the leaf. He's just doing it his way. Like always.

I really like how sasuke wants to be hokage now. Everyone seems to despise that idea, but he's not doing that to just troll everyone. He finally wants to inherit itachi's will and protect the precious village and change the ninja system so that this predicament would never happen again. He may have a bit of a stuck up attitude at the moment, but in a way he now cares for everyone and that's why he wants to become hokage, so he can protect everyone. Thinking about it, it makes me like Sasuke character even more. Give sasuke sometimes guys, he eventually will make up for his mistakes and prove his worth to become hokage; he'll be proving himself soon on this battlefield.

But right now naruto is doing all that without being Hokage. So right now it's complicated to tell who is the right one to have the hokage seat. Cause you can't be onesided even if you wanted to be. Sasuke can become hokage just like naruto can. Depends on the situations in the future.

I loved it, everything came so fast! Minato, then the hokages - could of had a better appearance - and then . . . Sasuke. That was mind blowing for everyone, especially Sakura. Though I wished I saw more of their reactions to the hokage's than simple the Uchiha. eue;

Anyway~ Finally, a confirmation that Kushina and Sakura are more alike than Hinata and Kushina, I don't know why people say they resemble. Kushina underestimated Minato like Sakura did with Naruto, both were bullied when little, and they are extremely short tempered, lot resemblance there with them two. Doesn't mean I support NaruSaku however, I really want him to be with Hinata. Q~Q

Anyway, I really wonder why got so annoyed of Naruto saying Sakura is kind of his girlfriend? xD I really don't think Naruto likes her that way anymore, maybe, still a place in his heart for her, but I seriously view them as siblings. In my opinion, he only said yes to Minato to rile up Sakura. x'D

I was . . . seriously shocked at Minato there O.e I thought it was Naruto, and since I was scrolling fast I got confused. He was one minute in BS mode, then still being healed by Sakura. Quite the confusion. xD

Now, to Sasuke being Hokage. As several people said, him and Naruto are longtime rivals. He is probably only saying that to go against Naruto in a challenge way - but surely in his mind he knows he can never get to that degree to be an hokage =w= - though somehow I see them trying to be Hashirama and Madara, taking over the village together perhaps. But don't know . . . Sasuke is still a crinimal. eue;

Anyway, enough said. Just can't wait for next chapter, to see how the battle plays out with Team 7, and the four hokages, and to see Sakura's mystery power. Bl I KNEW SHE MUST OF HAD SOMETHING UP HER SLEEVE!!! Just, her being weak . . . it seriously pissed me off. eue; It was about time she did . . . whatever she is going to do. xD

Minato having the same tech as naruto is the stupidest thing ever done in this manga. Are yoou telling me you can train in the stomach of the reaper. Naruto is one of two succesful perfect jinns and minato shows up and has the same power. Naruto had to train and gain kurama's trust for that. I liked it at first being a minato fan but I can't help but think it is stupid and makes progress seem like an illusion in this manga.

Yes, minato can train inside the stomach. He didn't take the nine tail's inside him just his chakra so he doesn't need to take as long as naruto to perfect it. When you enter the reapers stomach you are trapped with the others who are swallowed as well.

He's not saying that to challenge naruto. He's saying that cause he wants to protect the leaf and change it so that the mistakes of the past hokage don't repeat itself. He believes he'll be a better hokage in making the village in what it's suppose to be.

I just looked over that, that is weird...I've seen some pretty convincing threads about the So6P being an Uzumaki, but I'm more convinced now

for once and for all..Minato used Kyuubi Chakra mode and not Bijuu mode.

as we can clearly see from the pics, the cape/over-coat showing in Minato's mode, is only because he's originally wearing one, and not because he is in bijuu mode.

The REASON:
the reason for Minato having Kyuubi chakra mode is that, Minato sealed half of Kyuubi's chakra into himself using the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, and not Kyuubi, but Kyuubi's yin chakra!!
and also, due to his knowledge of jinchuriki from Kushina, he knew about the separate chakra(of bijuu) in jinchuriki and how to use it.
and viola!! comes Minato's Kyuubi Chakra mode!

I think Kishi is trying to set up the Sasuke vs Naruto battle using the Hokage title as the excuse especially since Sasuke has become 'good'.

Now the Hokage title is going to go to whoever triumphs in the epic battle between the two

Indeed. I always thought it would be a battle between Naruto defending Konoha and Sasuke trying to destroy it.

Kind of cheesy ending but I kind of liked the chapter a lot. Every time I read a chapter I get chills. LOL moment Madara gets super excited upon seeing Harashima again after many years and Harashima just blows him off like nothing, "I'll take care of you later!!"

Though what struck me as weird was Minato had the same Kyubi cloak as Naruto, or at least what appears to be like it. How can this be the case?

And I don't know if it was for anyone else but I found Sasuke saying "I want to be Hokage" so out of character for him. Sasuke is the guy who, in my mind, doesn't give a shit about anyone, except his brother of course. E.g. the kind of guy who stabs Karin and doesn't give two thoughts about it. E.g. the kind of guy who does his own thing against the wishes of the entire village. Lol I can just imagine Sasuke saying, "I will be Hokage, whether you want me to or not!!" (That's the kind of attitude I'm currently perceiving with him)

It feels like I don't know who Sasuke is anymore and he's just reduced to the words he says on the panels making it up week after week. I know it's meant to be as part of his transformation to a 'good guy' but atm I'm just not feeling it with the character and the way its playing out.

And lastly, Minato to Naruto and Sakura LOL classic naruto moment. And all Hinata can do is look forlornly from the sidelines. Overall very enjoyable chapter.
