This was an EPIC chapter. In my opinion. Though Minato did have the other half of the ninetails chakra sealed within him, to me I don't think it's a unique thing to him. But still pretty cool though. I thought it was pretty funny with the naruto and sakura scene. But she didn't deny it hardly when naruto claimed her as his gf like she usually does. Kinda has me wondering now who naruto will actually be with. The 4 hokage's barricading the ten tails was pretty cool. But don't forget that the ten tails still isn't in its final form. So I say the fight is still far from over. That seal probably won't do much to stop it. Sasuke becoming hokage is a bit of a twist. I still think his intentions aren't exactly pure, even though he's decided to protect the village. From the way he said it, I think he's going to try and force himself into the position of hokage, thus leading to some big feud between naruto and sasuke. Sakura having something up her sleeve is pretty cool also. So many people complained about her not being useful and now that she's actually doing more you people still complain. Smh. You guys just can't be satisfied I guess. And I noticed Orochimaru wasn't there. I'm wondering if he's plotting something behind the scenes. I wouldn't put it pass him.

I am just so ticked by what Minato said about sakura... I am like... damn it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and poor hinata's face.... I swear... kishi trolling us the past few weeks with naruto and hinata and now... sakura again.... **** this shit!!!
the rest was sick though!!! loved madara and hashirama's conversation.... minato once again showing us his ingenius and badass side....

I like this c:! I really agree with the whole SasuSaku thing. But the Sasuke wanting to become Hokage thing was kind of cheesy tbh. It was a totally odd plot twist. Clearly Kishi just wants to have something for Naruto and Sasuke to have their final battle over. I really like Sasuke, but thing is...Naruto (to me at least) was always meant to be Hokage!

With regards to the love story side:
I think narusaku tandem will just be unfair. Unfair to Naruto, that is. Just because sakura realized she was wrong upon choosing sasuke that she finally is eyeing for naruto. Again, thats just unfair.
Besides, I think Hinata and naruto will have stronger and more epic children because of hinata's blood line. Probably the strongest ninja because byakugan users dont have too much emotional problems like the uchiha clan...
Anyway, great combination of Hokage techniques. They know what to do even if no one was saying anything.
I don't know what sasuke is thinking, but if he is serious on becoming hokage, then thats probably what he and naruto will be fighting for in the future.. another story to unfold perhaps. A flashback of what happened to Hashirama and Madara. Kishi is always recycling the story..i dont get it? can't he think of another style in writing?

I have a feeling that a few of those kages might not make it. For example, the Ōnoki seems like an expendable character and Tsunade may very well have to be nixed in order to progress the "Next Hokage" story line at a catalytic pace. Similarly, I could see Kishi killing off Gaara as well just to show that the young can die too. Being a Gaara fan, I would be disappointed if he died, but he's served his purpose as a foil character for Naruto early on; that role is no longer essential.
Ideally, all the kages that Madara kicked around will be brought to the battlefield alive with Orochimaru and Karin, but this would defeat the tone that was set in motion by Neji's death, indicating that the war is indeed lethal towards more than just the fodders.

If i might add a big question.. how can Minato have a biju mode? If the other half of the kyubi is sealed with him in the Death god's belly, then wouldn't he have to be friends with the kyuubi first before he can gain that power?

sasuke's declaration wanting to be a hokage is very logical. of the many character's he's one shown with high intelligence though acts upon impulse. but if one does a character study he's the only one shown to go to greater lengths just to know the real reason upon things. sure the uchiha massacre was introduced early, but it was only through sasuke's journey did we come to know the conspiracies behind it. unlike the other aspiring boys of his generation just accepting it at face value. the current predicament of village system of using shinobi's for war or peace can only be understood if one goes to the roots. having a talk with "the one's who know everything" gives him a better perception of things. the flaws upon its systems and possible better alternatives. having all this impressions upon himself it's no wonder he wants to lead.

That part in bold is completely false and not true at all.
She never once stated that she was interested in Naruto in that way and she hasn't even led him on. She has made it clear numerous times that she wants Sasuke.
Loved this chapter, almost everything about it.
Sasuke could have been more apologetic towards his former comrades, he was to cold. He has to learn that warmth he showed in team 7 all over again.
There will not be a fight between Naruto and Sasuke to determine who becomes hokage, has everyone forgotten the leaf is a democracy? The leader is chosen, by the other shinobi, elders and the villagers, that's why Hashi was chosen as the 1st. it's not a coup de tat!

This chapter was really good this week enjoyed it 5/5 for me but gotta feel sorry for Hinata. What came to a surprise for me was Minato going Tailed Beast chakra mode which i thought was epic but didnt know he could do it and the other one was Sauske wanting to be Hokage which made me laugh and alot of other people just screamed with anger and last of where are the other 5 kages?
