Minato didnt activate KCM, Kyuubi did. He tried to see if his chakra(Yang) still in the Dead God Seal or if Minato had it. Minato did learn to control it, its just a regular Kyuubi chakra, just like how the twins used the chakra

Naruto was able to use that mode when he was able to fight Kurama and collect Kurama's chakra by force.
Minato was married to a Jinkiruki, he actually grew up with her, he learned seals from her, so he knows the process of fighting kurama for chakra.
And we know Naruto's mum must have had fought with kurama before thats why kurama recognized her presence when she helped Naruto.

Its really not a big deal that Minato can do that. He knows a lot.
Dont forget he formed Rasengan by watching kurama use the binju bomb.

good to know that team 7 has returned to operational status. now the question becomes will sasuke be branded as a traitor or will he be accepted back into the village for coming to it aid in a time of dire need. bu those are questions for further down the road.
predications- i would have to say that as things heat up we may stand to lose a few more well know ninja (meaning the students we all know and love.) also the first and madara are most defiantly going to go at again. but i really hope we get back to yamato... have not seen him since the start of the war... we know he was being used to make he zetsu clones but there all gone... so yeah lets get back to that..

Naruto is FAR from over.
Most of us thought the war might be the end of the story and the entire anime, but, with Sasuke saying he wants to become Hokage surely and safely adds another 2 years to the story, knowing how many breaks Kishi likes to take.

I wanted to see Sasuke disassociate himself from the village more. Though, it's not like the manga has ended so let's see what happens.

Of course I know that fact.
I am replying those who believed Minato didnt train like Naruto did to be able to use that mode. We know half of Kurama's chakra is in Minato

When madara summoned the kyuubi.

Minato sealed half of the kyuubi in Naruto and the other half on himself.


And he made a complex seal and gave it to the frog before he died.

Overall i thought this chapter was just epic; what with Minato looking to be the cooolest ninja evr, Madara getting owned, Tobirama actually complementing Minato, 4 hokages in action, Hashirama's totally cool move =D =D =D My only problem was the slight heartbreak when Sai was sooo easily forgotten now that sasuke is back and the very major heartbreak when Minato mistook sakura for naruto's GF.... i must admin the Hinata in me almost died, but almost. I'm still not losing hope :'(
On the matter of sasuke i must say what a jerk really but i don't think that thing about hokage was real, he was just messing with naruto. all in all i thought that kiba, ino, shikamaru and chouji's reaction to him was well deserved.... and naruto and sakura are down-playing all his faults. I mean he committed some major crimes.... the sort that can't go unpunished...That's IMO sorry sasuke fans
Despite the major blow the naruhina fan in me suffered i'll say this chapter was an epic win that is to say i can't expect the manga to go however i want it to, it's upto kishi
