You are really, really, REALLY stupid. My theory is far fetched because nothing exists in real life? You're aware that this series isn't based on reality, right? Like, how many people do you see going around and throwing fire balls at eachother. It is a fantasy series, and purgatory is FAR less ridiculous than the rest of the shit in almost every anime that has ever existed.

It isn't my theory that Minato wasn't dead. That one is FACT, as in cannot be argued. It isn't an opinion, it is undeniable fact. Same goes for everybody/everything else in the reaper. They were not dead. They weren't able to go to the next life. Yes, Minato was stabbed by Kurama, which WOULD HAVE killed him, had he not performed the Reaper. Since he did perform the Reaper, his soul was taken and put straight into the Reaper. It NEVER went to the other world, so he didn't die. Then, Orochimaru discovers a way to free souls from the reaper, which he did. At that point, all the Kage were dead, souls on to the next life. Only then could Orochimaru Edo them. If that isn't true, then Kabuto would have been able to revive them, as well. He couldn't because he didn't know how to free the souls so that they may be edo'd.
