This was a great chapter. Yet still people will find any miniscule thing to complain about. Smh. I don't think most people actually pay attention to the story or just plain forget things since most here only seem to be concerned only about the "action". About the earth jutsu thing, clearly they said that it was just a simple jutsu that anyone can do. Shinobi can learn more than just one element type jutsu, even if it's just one simple technique. But that doesn't mean that they can master the full spectrum of that element. I honestly think it's pretty logical and makes sense if you ask me. And I honestly don't mind the talking. I mean there is a story being told here right? That does involve some talking. Kishi's just trying to make a meaningful story instead of it just being mindless full throttle action all the time. I respect him for that. And also I'm pretty sure Naruto sensed Minato like many others here have said. Hence his calm reaction. He's already spoken with his dad before and had a big enough reaction then. And it's possible we may get even more of a reaction from him in the next chapter. Naruto is just trying to keep a calm head in the midst of everything going on around them.

cool chapter but i'm wondering why the resurrected hokages have to be involved in the fight against Madara its not as if he is God or anything like that , i feel there are raising our expectations too much then they will later be shattered buy the ensuing battle/fight or later events like "obito sacrificing his life like nagato ,or just resurrecting every one, or worst case scenario Madara becomes good"

No, Madara probably doesn't see Naruto that way. the reason for this is that Madara never saw the Sot6p anyway, so he couldn't see him in Naruto. That seems logical right?

In anycase, the Juubi got impatient because of the missing parts of Chakra (e.g. the bijuu). Not that the 10-tails needs that...since he's a well...chakra well himself...

One of there things minoto might give naruto as a present 1. The yang half everyone expects i dont really think about it cuz maybe kurama got it back over time as naruto grew up, 2. The uzimaki chain beast justsu kushina used on kyuubi, would be a great move for naruto against jubi an maybe sasuke if they do fight in the future, 3. Not to be mushy but bringing naruto the friend he thought he lost

You seems to forget that Kakashi already knew, most of the ANBU members and Jonin actually knew....that Minato was Naruto's dad. Even Tsunade knew...and Jirayia as well....

this is an awesome chapter... the grand entrance of Minato is way to cool.... the reaction of naruto is natural i think he sensed already that his dad is coming... no doubt that he's very calm when the ten tails release it's bijuudama......i rate it 5/5 or 10/10.... the talk no jutsu is part of story......

I'm new to this so pls give me a chance to explain.... There was a chapter a while back when the killer bee's brother the raikage was attacking the yellow flash and it clearly show the 4th marked one of the 8 tails tentacles at the end to show he can quickly get to bee at any given time.

Maybe that's how he got there first and not the other hokages.
Just a thought, because it did show the 8 tail/beesan

That is also plausible (the markings he left on Bee during his battle with A+Bee). Although what is known to be a fact was that he included his S/T markings with Kushina's seal which you can see during Obito's attempt to pull Kurama out.

Madera: Stands around, and makes condescending remark.
Obito: Whines, and tries to validate his decisions in life.
Kakashi: Mopes, argues with Obito.
Naruto: inspires others to stand together, protects everyone, argues with Obito.
Juubi: Stands around screaming, and does an attack.
Everyone else: Stands by Naruto, counters juubbi attack.

Over, and over, and over again...


Thank god the others have arrived, because this is like watching an old Godzilla movie.

Hahahahahaha,that was my expression,just like the rest of the AS,when the huge boom disappeared,jeez then i saw the kunai,and scream he is the one,and his face was show ,minato's intro was good. And why are some surprised that naruto is not like what the f... Well he is suppose to be the first to sense any of them even madara,because just as the hokage sense kyuubi,from afar so did the kyuubi,and in entension naruto.

well i want to see minato fight now, i want to see him and naruto fight as a team.I believe Narutos reaction is a mature one, an inmature nartuo would be jumping around and be all excited and sad and crying all at once...IT IS SAD TO SEE THAT PEOPLE WANTED ANOTHER REAACTION - they dont have time to get a mushy!!!!! thast is why i liek narutos reaction b/c he meant business!
Minato arriving first can mean two things - 1) he is faster than Tobirama or 2) the other hokages and taka went off to help Tsunade and Co.
Now i believe next chap. we will see the rest of the kages but liek in this one, we will see them at the end of the chap. BUT hmmm just wondering if kishi is going to let Kakashi and Obito finish their talk and once that is over we will get to see the other Kages and taka team.

oh well, nice chapter and we will haev a good few weeks of chaps i believe.

My only issue is that whenever the Juubi does a powerful attack (this week that massive Juubi-Dama, last week those Lighting Storms) these attacks seem to have little to no effect on the alliance.

We have had one fatality in the face off against the Juubi which was Neji of all people. (Note: i said face off: relating to those standing directing infront of the Juubi on the battlefield. I am not referring to the projectile that took out the base HQ)

Come on tho man.... I'd expect the Juubi to be alot more powerful. But then again i guess we do still have one more transformation to go. Not really feeling the 'flowerhead Juubi' but I know Kishi will not let us down. We will see the Juubi who battled against the Sage of the Six Paths.

I dont mean to sound like i am over complaing Lol especially as the hype is on as Minato has entered the battlefield like a boss. However... this IS the 10-Tails isnt it? The one who is supposed to have created the world and nature if i am correct?
