great chapter 5/5 I like the fact that he gave madara another chance to turn over a new leaf (pun intended) and come back before killing him; All we know is hashi answered sasuke's question so were moving on to the next hokage or the battlefield xd

Loved how it was a wood clone that fooled Madara in the end after he bragged about using it against the 5 Kage lol

However its brings up questions, did Madara merely pretend to have died?

Ok, this chapter shows Madara = Hashirama? kind of crap how that giant statue was defeated by a few TBB...

BTW, those that saying how Madara got Hashirama's DNA. Look at both of them, they are both injured and have blood coming out...most likely Madara found some of Hashirama's blood on the ground

Also madara never seen that wood clone because he never had his sharingan activated when Hashirama was on the ground...what a derp /facepalm

I predict there will be more flashbacks: Minato hasn't spoken yet. Sasuke will probably ask him about the kyubbi attack 16 years ago.

Hashirama did not turn a bad guy, he had to chose between a Madara who was not feeling like Hashirama`s friend anymore no mater how much Hashirama could still love him, and the lives of a whole village.

The difference between Hashirama and Madara is that Hashirama is not happy about killing his former friend, while Madara seems quite satisfied about becoming enemies.

I like how it's basically established that Hashirama ≠ Naruto now, but the battle was kind of... whatever, and I'm pretty disappointed the flashbacks were over this soon. So, 3/5.

This manga chapter had along of dialogue in it. most likely the translation will not be very accurate. gotta wait for *********** to fully understand

Madara had things planned forward.. A terrific a-plan, which is destroying Hashirama and getting his DNA. And a b-plan that involves Izanagi:

I think he activated that just there.

In any case, his b-plan is about getting Hashirama's cells too. That is his absolute plan that day.

There is no way that is Izanagi! When Izanagi occurs the corpse disappear, here you could see Madara's corpse lying there. Also, madara have the sword scar on his chest presently.
Hashi also stated "I'm sure I killed my friend" (there could be something to that statement).

So lets think out of the box now:

*Is it possible the Hashi's wood clone attached it self to Madara, after all he loved his friend so much. It also make sense with the invention of zetsu, a primitive close of Hashi that has a mind of its own.

*Or maybe Hashi tried to do CPR, or some emergency medical jutsuu but thought he failed, and madara woke up later?

*It is kinda tough to think an Uchiha saved mandara knowing we have not seen a medical uchiha in the 635 episodes of Naruto.

*But we should also put into account that Hashi and Madara trained together when they were young and Madara could have learned some life saving Justuu from Hashi. {Remember Hashi could read part of the Uchiha scroll without a sharingan}.

5/5 Great chapter! The only question is how did Madara survive?

The way I see it is that Madara let hashi stab him.

1. He still had enough chakra to use EMS as we seen he turned it off after the kyubi was taken. He never lost control of the kyubi due to lack of chakra.

2. He boldly stated in previous chapters " I am the only one that can see through his wood clones."

3. With that statement he clearly knew it was a wood clone and allowed hashi to stab him.

Now his moon eye plan was clearly referenced as his dream ( world ). In order to do that Madara realized that he needed powerful senju cells. In this case hashi was the most powerful senju and had the most powerful strand of senju DNA to the point where you can lived for over a hundred years.

He knew he couldnt just merely slash hashi and take his DNA without him knowing. So instead he fought hashi and forced him to use a wood clone in order to have a strong DNA sample/ root. After getting him to use the clone he allowed hashi to "take his back" and stab him. He faked his death and implanted hashi's cells into him. Later discovering he obtain the most powerful eyes in narutoverse...the rinnegan. This is when his plan begins to unfold...

While madara was battling the 5 kages, he used it against Tsunade and he said this was the jutsu that only his eyes could use. It means he placed Hashirama under a very powerful Genjutsu that almost seems real such that his opponent can still perform but the opponent can't figure out what's going on. Madara place the Genjutsu immediately hashirama's wood monk captured the kyuubi (madara EMS was shown activated against hashirama) . I guess Madara had the chance to kill hashirama but his Dream was beyond killing hashirama. In essence, MADARA FOOLED HASHIRAMA !

I really don't see how this story is going to get Sasuke to let go of his hatred, really he has more reason then ever to be angry.

As for the chapter, it was interesting and we are finally out of the flashbacks.

You are correct hashi was looking directly in the kyubi's eyes. It is possible Madara used his EMS that was in the kyuubi to cast that genjutsu.

I liked it so much. Loved this chapter . Battle was freaking amazing. Hashirama owned Madara. And flashbacks are over . CANT WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK.
